No, I would not go. I am straight and I don't have to be in a parade to show others. Nor am I a victim. I will not act like being straight is a minority.

No. There is no need to prove that God's created order is legitimate. It is self-evident in scripture that heterosexuality is God's created order for mankind. A straight pride event will have the unintended consequence of validating the homosexual agenda, what is just what the homosexual community wants.

2Co 4:6 KJV - For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Which, of course, has nothing to do with throwing and participating in a "straight parade"

Having a politically motivated straight pride parade would not be giving the "light of knowledge" to anyone. This verse says God shined this light in our hearts - not our picket signs.

I, with all my heart, do not believe that Jesus would participate in a straight pride parade. He would be eating lunch with gay people and telling them to sin no more.

Gay people need to see that light in our attitude and treatment of them. They don't need to see straight people marching against them - which is what a straight parade would be.

It would be to them like a KKK parade would be to a black person. Ergo, mission failed - epically.

Since I am close to Modesto and could go, I could wear a shirt that says... I'M STRAIGHT... I PROCREATE!... I was going to add AND YOU CAN'T!... That that would be mean and after all I'm a Christian and not in name only... Brother Glen:)

i would go only if there was free food after the parade.

When i was stationed at Rome NY at Griffiss AFB the locals would bribe us to march in the various holiday parades (e.g. 4th of July) offering us free beer at the end of the parade - but you had to be quick before the beer ran out.

    Feed me!

I guess that’s why they call it the silent majority.

Mat 5:13 KJV - Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Using the same logic there is no need to prove calvinism is true either.

Hopefully we, as a majority, will prevail in slowing the inroads being made by the anti-Christ progressives.

I have been "handed my lunch" by my fellow Christians.

I wonder if those who would not attend unless there was food provided, or proclaim their convictions because it might be perceived as being mean. would wear a MAGA hat at a political rally where there was no food!

As far as Christ eating with sinners, did He ever engage with sinners where He instigated the interaction? I intend to look more closely into this but will save some time if the members of this board will enlighten me.

As far as I know, Christ never hosted a dinner with sinners but was always the invited guest.

I wonder if I would be the only straight conservative taking a stand at this Straight Pride Parade?

I know that this is unchristian like but perhaps its time to take off the gloves?

Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Who knows if Antifa will show up or not.

This is what has always bothered me about the pride parades [other than there being next to naked people behaving in an oversexualized manner and their bringing children with them].

It's the word Pride that bothers me. Pride focuses on self and a prideful self isn't focused on God or godly attributes or teachings.

What would a straight pride parade consist of that was honoring to the Lord? And even if there was an aspect of honoring the Lord, maybe witnessing to people, then why call it "Pride"? Besides, not all straight people are Christians. What guarantee would there be that Christ would be honored? I just don't see it happening.

No - for me riots, parades, yelling, and politically motivated "Look at ME!" grandstanding in the name of pride is not for me.

Agree... And when first read the OP this scripture popped in my head... Brother Glen:)

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

I appreciate your view. I would endorse another approach if it was presented. I fear for the children and young people that are being subjected to sexual perversion with no counter-value system being shown. Consider the long-term social results of events such as this:
Library Deletes Photos of Children Fondling Drag Queens During ‘Story Hour’

Our children have never been subjected to such abstract perversion as this. As some comments noted, why is this not considered child abuse and these perps being arrested?+

From now on, I will refer to the gathering as a "Counter-Pride" gathering!:D

Since gay-pride has dominated the scene for some time, hopefully their destruction will soon befall them!
