Well that one has no truth in it otherwise you would have provided the scriptures that answer the questions here in the OP. If you have no scripture just be honest. If you believe you have scripture than prove it. All I am hearing here are your words denying God's Word. Not going to fair to well for some come judgment day when they had the chance to hear Gods' WORD and chose to turn away from it only to find out too late when JESUS says to them depart from me you who work sin I never knew you *MATTHEW 7:22-26.
Sorry I am not interested in you changing the topic of the OP because your not able to provide any scriptures here that support your position. If you want to go and start a new OP send me a link and we can discuss clean and unclean foods if you like?

I can understand you wanting to change the topic of the OP here. It is because you have no scripture to support your teaching and traditions that break God's commandments. If this does not concern you it should. JESUS says all those who follow the teachings and traditions of men are not following God *MATTHEW 15:3-9.

If you believe the Words of JESUS than who are you following?

God's Sheep hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him.

As I said I do not judge you. You are not my judge. I suggest you read ROMANS 2:1-13 I am sure it will help the conversation.

No one said you go to church on Sunday to celebrate the Sabbath. Our argument should be about nothing else brother except believing and following God's WORD and helping each other to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith or not in the faith.

God's Sheep (his people) hear His Voice (the Word of God) and follow him. *JOHN 10:26-27. If we sin willfully after we receive a knowledge of the truth there remains no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward to the judgment to come *HEBREWS 10:26-39. God's 4th commandment of the 10 commandments is one of God's Commandments that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken *ROMANS 3:20

May you receive God's WORD and be blessed.

Well that is not true brother. God's 4th commandment is written with Gods' own finger and asks us specifically to "REMEMBER" the SABBATH DAY which it says is the "SEVENTH DAY" of the week to keep it a HOLY DAY (for rest and none of our work) *EXODUS 20:8-11. Do you not believe Gods WORD? Where does it say in the scripture that Gods' 4th commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? Please feel free to provide scriptures for anyone of the questions in the OP here. No one else has been able to. If you cannot why not believe and follow God' WORD and be blessed? Only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it.

Hi Brendon nice to meet you and thanks for sharing your thoughts. Correct the early Church whorshipped God on the Sabbath according to his Word. We are indeed saved by grace through faith *EPHESIANS 2:8-9. No one is saved by grace however by practicing known unrepentant sin *HEBREWS 10:26-27; 1 JOHN 3:4; ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7. The Gentiles received Gods' Spirit upon 'BELIEVING" God's Word. It is the Spirit of truth it does not work outside of God's WORD (JOHN 6:63; JOHN 16:13).

May you receive God's WORD and be blessed.

Sadly your posts have no truth in them. This is sad for you Roby and no nothing you have provided here addressed anything in the OP. So what you are trying to say is that you have no scripture to support your tradition aren't you.

If you have no scripture for your tradition just be honest. No need to be unkind. Love is the fruit of the Spirit brother.

JESUS says you shall know them by their fruit.

What is it that I have posted in these forums that is not God's WORD? If I only post God's WORD why do you not BELIEVE it?

God's Sheep hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him *JOHN 10:1-10; JOHN 10:26-27. Those who do not hear God's WORD do not follow because they are not His Sheep.

May you receive God's WORD and be blessed. Ignoring Gods Word does not make it dissappear.

Sabbath (Saturday) and the Lords day (Sunday) are two different dates....

“I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet“ - Revelation 1:10

Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. - 1 Corinthians 16:2

And the church worshipped on Sunday from that time until the SDA came along. Regarding the commandment,

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. - James 2:10

Do you also have a table of shewbread? An altar of Golden incense? A lamp stand? If your going along with Old Testament law you had better keep it all!

First of all God isn't and idiot who would hang judgement over a person because they did not loved him on a particular day only.

The 10 Plus There are like 636 commandments.

I'm not saying there is no 10 commandments.

Then he said to Him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said,

This is holy scripture, GOD GIVEN WORD OF GOD. The man ASKED WHICH ONES.

    Jesus reply?

    A. SABBATH you must keep the sabbath.

    B. ALL 10 COMMANDMENTS.

    C. 18Then he said to Him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER; YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY; YOU SHALL NOT STEAL; YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS; 19HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER; and YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”

Pick the right answer. ONE of these is in Scripture. The others ARE in SATAN's BIBLE.

    Which is it A B or C?

But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. - Titus 3:9

We are not supposed to be arguing this stuff as it is unprofitable and vain

Hi rocky, there is no scripture that says "SUNDAY" or the first day of the week is "THE LORDS DAY". According to God's Word the "SABBATH" is "THE LORDS DAY" *MATTHEW 12:8. Can you show me a scripture that says "THE LORDS DAY" is in reference to "SUNDAY" or the "FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK"?

More info in this subject click me ..

JESUS says if you love me keep my commandments *JOHN 14:15. Do you love JESUS utilyan? If you love JESUS what should you do; follow the teaching and traditions of men that break the commandments of God and keep God's commandments?

    How many commandments are there in God's 10 Commandments; 6; 9; 10 or 636? *DEUTERONOMY 10:4 (hint)

Then if you love JESUS what should you do? *JOHN 14:15

Sorry brother, I still cannot work out if your being serious or not. You do know that the first 4 commandments of the 10 commandments are our duty of LOVE to GOD and the second 6 commandments are our duty of LOVE to our fellow man right on which ALL THE LAW and the prophets hang right *JOHN 22:36-40?

Are you claiming in your post which references the 2nd 6 commandments of our duty to love our fellow man MATTHEW 19:16-23 that we no longer have a duty of LOVE to GOD as demonstrated in the first four commandments?

You do know that JESUS was showing the rich young ruler that even though he kept the 2nd 6 commandments of his duty of LOVE to his fellow man that he was not fullfilling his LOVE to God right because he loved his money more than GOD right?

Thanks I am only asking for clarity as to what you are saying and asking questions to help you to see how silly your argument is here. According to your argument it is now ok to have other God's, make idols, use Gods' name in vain and break God's Sabbath when the scriptures you have provided say or suggest no such thing.

Hope you can think what your saying through.

May you receive God's WORD and be blessed.

We are not talking about ceremonial laws (νομικός) and geneologies. So your scripture reference has no meaning here.

The New Covenant replaced the Old. And we have no requirement to keep Saturday or Sunday as a sabbath in the New Covenant. Only this which predates the Ten Commandments.

“Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.” Acts 15:19–20 (KJV 1900)

You mix up the MOSAIC shadow laws from the OLD COVENANT that are fulfilled in the NEW. "CIRCUMCISION" from the MOSAIC Book of the law *EXODUS 24:7; DEUTERONOMY 31:24-26; JOHN 7:22-23 is not one of God's 10 commandments *ACTS 15:1-2. If you do not know what the OLD COVENANT was how can you understand what the NEW COVENANT is that the OLD pointed to? Do you have any scripture to share in relation to the OP? I guess not.

    Amen! SDA garbage indeed!

The question in the OP is part of building a straw man. The New Testament makes that a moot point because Christians are not under the law and there is no command in the New Testament for Christians to keep the Sabbath day holy nor is there anything said about Christians being condemned for failing to do so.

Romans 14:5 - One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Let each man be fully convinced in his own mind.

Galatians 4:9-11 - But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? You observe days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain.

Colossians 2:14 - Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.

Ephesians 2:15 - Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace.

Colossians 2:16-17 - Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day--things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:6 - who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? 9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

Well of course SDA's will argue that Paul was merely talking about "these" days and sabbaths and not "that" day or the weekly sabbath and "these" ordinances and law of commandments, but not "those" ordinances and law of commandments in a desperate effort to get around the truth. SDA's are absolutely obsessed with the Sabbath day and have turned it into an idol! So obsessed that they even teach the ludicrous doctrine that near the end of time the "mark of the best" of Revelation 14 will be placed upon those who worship on Sunday instead of Saturday. - Bible Truth Versus Adventist Truth - Mark of the Beast

SDA legalism culminates in salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works" which is more than a subtle mixture of law and grace that is a perversion of the gospel (Galatians 1:6-9; 2 Corinthians 4:3,4) and they have the audacity to condemn believers who do not subscribe to their perverted gospel by accusing them of willfully sinning and numbering them with the "many" in Matthew 7:22-23, which I find so ironic.

I find it interesting that SDA's detest Sunday and call it a Catholic tradition, yet in the Old Testament, we find these passages of scripture. In Leviticus 23:11, we read - And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. (The day after the Sabbath is Sunday).

Read on in Leviticus 23:15 -You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete sabbaths. You shall count fifty days to the DAY AFTER THE SEVENTH SABBATH; then you shall present a new grain offering to the Lord.'" This is the Feast of Pentecost. It was one of the compulsory feasts of Israel.

Note on the day of Pentecost, a Sunday God's people were commanded to worship. God says, "On this same day you shall make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation. You shall do no laborious work. It is to be perpetual statue in all your dwelling places throughout your generations." (Leviticus 23:21).

This is not only applying to "ceremonial" days. Leviticus 23:1-4 starts out talking about the weekly Sabbath. It's called an appointed time and a holy convocation, along with all the other feast days of Israel. No distinction is made by God between these holy days and the weekly Sabbath. He includes them all as being holy. This would mean that under the old covenant the First Fruits Sunday and the Pentecost Sunday were holy just as Saturday.

The old covenant was made with Israel, and NOT with the Gentiles. Look at Exodus 31:13-17 - "But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'You shall surely observe My sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.. So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever..

When will SDA's learn that Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations, was part of a covenant with Israel (Exodus 16:23, 29; 31:12-18; 35:1-3; Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3, 32; Numbers 15:32-36; 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13; Amos 8:5; Nehemiah 10:31) that is not binding on Christians under the new covenant.

Since the entire old covenant has been made obsolete, does this leave us with no moral direction? Absolutely not. God made obsolete the old covenant to "put legally into place" the new covenant (2 Corinthians 3:6-9; Hebrews 8:13). The life of discipleship flows out of the new command, to love one another as He loved us (John 13:34), which Paul refers to as the "law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). Love fulfills the law (Romans 13:8-10). Out of this single command comes other commands, including references for the moral aspect of 9 of the 10 commandments which are reiterated under the new covenant, yet the command to keep the Sabbath day is not binding on Christians under the new covenant.

    1. You shall have no other gods before Me. - Acts 14:15
    2. You shall make no idols. - 1 John 5:21
    3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. - 1 Timothy 6:1; James 2:7; James 5:12
    4. Keep the Sabbath day holy. - Not binding on the Church - Colossians 2:16-17
    5. Honor your father and your mother. - Ephesians 6:1-2
    6. You shall not murder. - Romans 13:9-10; 1 John 3:15
    7. You shall not commit adultery. - Romans 13:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
    8. You shall not steal. - Romans 13:9-10; Ephesians 4:28
    9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. - Romans 13:9-10; Colossians 13:9-10
    10. You shall not covet. - Romans 13:9-10; Ephesians 5:3

So contrary to the claims of SDA's, the New Testament nowhere commands Christians to observe the Sabbath. The Sabbath was a sign between God and the Israelites under the old covenant. “The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested” (Exodus 31:16-17).

In Deuteronomy 5, Moses restates the 10 commandments to the next generation of Israelites. Here, after commanding Sabbath observance in verses 12–14, Moses gives the reason the Sabbath was given to the nation Israel: “Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day” (Deuteronomy 5:15)

Nehemiah 9:13 - Then You came down on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven; You gave them just ordinances and true laws, Good statutes and commandments. 14 So You made known to them Your holy sabbath, And laid down for them commandments, statutes and law, Through Your servant Moses.

In Acts 20:7, we read - Now on the first day of the week, (Sunday) when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.

The Jerusalem Council did not impose Sabbath keeping on the Gentile believers in Acts 15. Paul warned the Gentiles about many different sins in his epistles, but never about breaking the Sabbath.

Sunday has not replaced Saturday as the Sabbath day, but is a time when believers gather to commemorate Christ's resurrection, which occurred on the first day of the week. (Matthew 28:1; John 20:1) Every day to the believer is one of Sabbath rest, since we are resting in the salvation of the Lord in contrast to keeping the weekly sabbath under the law (Hebrews 4:9-11).

No matter how much scripture twisting, trickery, deceit, rhetoric and SDA propaganda that SDA's throw at us, we are not fooled by their deception! ;)

    Grace to you.

Indeed I am encouraged by your passion and wise words. Yes, unrepentant sin is living as an enemy of the cross. What you have said is true.

But brother, I want you to consider God's heart on the matter. Again, Gentiles, who as Paul wrote, had the moral law written on their heart. They did not know of Jewish ordinances. They received the Holy Spirit before knowing any ordinances such as kosher food or Sabbath days, based upon the moral law itself. In other words, God accepted them as they were, which is also why Paul taught to "remain as you are".

This is also evidenced by the Council of Jerusalem, as they only insisted them to keep a very basic moral law.

These verses prove that Gentiles were receiving the Spirit without any knowledge of Jewish ordinances, such as Sabbath or Kosher food:

And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them. And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me: Simon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
    Acts 15:8‭-‬21 KJV

That is why they wrote them a very basic letter that basically said:

We know you have the Holy Spirit Gentiles. God is gracious. Because you don't know our laws, here are the very basics. Stay away from sexual immorality, blood, and idols.

This is why Paul taught to remain as you are. God had already accepted them because the "moral law was written on their hearts".

Or if none of that convinces you, consider this:

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath correct?

Not without love brother, but your kind of saying "Don't pick grain!" When men have personal relationships with Jesus, spiritual relationships, and he can direct their hearts and when and how to serve. I am thinking of the verse "To his own master a man will stand or fall, why judge another's servant?"

You see, it's not the letter but the Spirit we follow.

But again, clearly scripture shows that God accepted Gentiles who were not Sabbath keepers and gave them the Holy Spirit simply because they had faith and they followed the moral laws of God, which are summed up in the first two commandments.

Grace and peace be yours in abundance.

There's no way around the fact that the New Covenant replaced the Old, and the New does not require Sabbath or Sunday keeping.

    Grace to you.

I almost forgot one important point. Not to beat a dead horse but, I wanted to point out what was said at the end of the letter to the Gentiles:

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
    Acts 15:28‭-‬29 KJV

Notice they said to the Gentiles if they do the morality the law requires they will "do well". ;)

So rather than pressure the Gentiles with Sabbath and regulations, they recognized God accepted them on the basis of their moral disposition and belief in Jesus Christ. That my friend, is God's grace.

Which is why the letter was so basic dealing with moral issues and not ordinances, because God had accepted the Gentiles as they were, if they were willing to follow the moral codes and believe in Jesus Christ.

So as Paul taught "Remain as you are".

    Grace to you brother.
