Iran admits to accidentally shooting down Ukrainian plane

Iran confirmed what the intels of several nations, including the US, alleged-that they shot down the Ukrainian civilian jet, killing everyone aboard, including 82 Iranians.
Their feeble excuse is "US bullying" ! Fact is, their "intel" was unable to discern a civilian aircraft that TOOK OFF IN IRAN from a military invader ! We should be afraid of such idiots?

We've absolutely no room to ridicule, we did the same exact thing July 17, 1996 :

At least the Iranians have admitted what they did, the U.S. has never fessed up.

While I don't condone the US' goof back then, the tech now is much-better. A "modern" nation such as Iran SHOULD have been able to discern a civilian jetliner from a military aircraft, ESPECIALLY AS IT TOOK OFF FROM TEHRAN.

With a high alert status, Iran shoulda known where every aircraft within their borders was, and NOT have been expecting an air attack FROM WITHIN IRAN.

(As I said, the US really has no excuse either, but we must remember who was in charge in 1996!)

Some people weren't there and have no clue what happened. I personally masterminded the takedown of TWA 800. It was me! Stop blaming the U.S.
