I thought Rice would have been more formidable. I don't think Harris is going to cut it.

I do think she'll give a poll bounce, but I believe it will be artificial.

Although I don’t agree with her politics, it is a mistake to dismiss her. I think she is knowledgeable, articulate, photogenic, and a good debater. She will be good on the campaign and will be better than Bid:n (not a high bar) in interviews.

    Peace to you

I'm sure they picked her for a reason. I don't know that I would tout her debating. I found her annoying and thought Tulsi destroyed her. I also think she's vulnerable with her history as a prosecutor. I think she'll repel many voters.

There is no doubt she was unprepared for criticism that T:lsi leveled and that moment ended her campaign, imo.

Until that moment, she had done well, though I don’t think her support was ever very solid. We will see how prepared she is at the debate. I don’t think P:nce will be as aggressive with the accusations, but she most certainly make many accusations against P:TUS.

    peace to you

Should make for some lively and ugly debate. I find her very unlikable as I believe others even on the Left would agree. This choice probably hurts Biden chances rather than helps because of distaste for that woman and will definitely up the tension in the elections. I'll just be glad when its over...

not the best choice IMO, just relieved he didn't go with that Tammy Duckworth person - she ought to be constitutionally ineligible like Kamala is, but difference is, Tammy is a great campaigner while Kamala barely squeaks by in liberal friendly areas.

Willie Brown probably isn't too happy but now at least he can say "told you so". This ought to nail down California for them even though Kamala may actually hurt their ticket with the black vote and many Left Coast liberals here think she was a hang 'em DA and she was.

Odds of Biden winning dropped dramatically with this pick - so sad, too bad.

I think Biden will win the election and she will be President a year from now as Biden fades away. She works hard and made it to the top.

I think that it is too soon to tell. As I understand it, the current polls use registered voters. At Labor Day, they start using likely voters. I expect the polls to tighten quite a bit after Labor Day. If a U.S. vaccine is approved by mid-October and/or Dr. Katz is correct that after September we will be on the other side of this COVID-19 summer spread, then President Trump's chances of being re-elected will greatly improve.

Just reviewed a commentary on Trump by Pope Francis. He compared Trump to Hitler because of Trump's speeches. He also said that Trump is King Herod. Also, the RCC Archbishop of Washington DC said that Trump should not have gone to a shrine in DC to pray. He said that Trump should build bridges not walls.

she slept her way on to the political stage with that California mayor with the adulterous affair.
‘Ruthless’: How Kamala Harris Won Her First Race

The article calls her ruthless, what she is really, a bold unrepenting sinner. I think of her as a mean nasty women.

And just what church was that anyway?
The response was immediate. “People just jumped on their feet and gave her a standing ovation,” Stearns said. “And I was at the back of the church, and the look on the face of Terence Hallinan and Bill Fazio was, ‘Oh, shxx.’’”

One of her assets might be funding, with the deep pockets of Blue California made more accessible through her campaign network.

Biden had a vp pick that believes he is a racist and that he was involved in sexual assault

No, more recent. I'm thinking in the 20s. I think white liberals are much more excited about Kamala than black Americans.
