Vermont Gov. Phil Scott said the state's Agency of Education is directing all schools to ask students if they were part of "multi-family gatherings" during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Some families will still get together and schools have asked for help. State education officials will direct schools to ask students or parents if they were part of multi-family gatherings. If the children admit that more than their immediate family celebrated together, children will be banned from attending school and go in lock-down for two weeks.

Gov. Scott also called on businesses to take a similar approach and "ask employees to quarantine if they don't adhere to gathering restrictions”.

Anyone wonder what Winston Smith would do with this sort of Big Brother action?

This makes no sense as the school or workplace is a larger gathering than any Thanksgiving that could fit into a residential home.

In the 1930's schools in a certain country asked the students to spy on their parents.

Its none of their business and regardless if I had a large family gathering or not that is what I would tell them.

banned from attending school for 2 weeks, no great loss there. Temporarily they will be spared the assault on their minds from the LEFT.

What are the scholastic expectations and accommodations for these banned children? Is this a punishment and are they penalized?

Are children of parents that work in a hospital or higher risk occupations banned from attending schools?

This makes no scientific sense at all.
