Yet that isn't what he is on trial for...

They did. It was denied. I think they should have had a different venue.

You seem desperate to acquit this man. Why?
When the Somali/American police officer was found guilty for shooting a white woman from Australia in Minneapolis, did you support the police officer? Why or why not?
Let's get down to the bottom of why people want a white cop who had a record of abuse to get off free, yet no one here would have supported the Somali/American cop who shot and killed a white woman.

The fact is that we have selected jurors who are tasked with determining justice. If you reject the rule of law, you reject the United States.

OK, let’s play that game for a moment. ”You seem desperate” to lace your posts with bias and false accusations. And “what you mean ‘we,’ white man?”* I don’t recall selecting jurors, deciding venue, etc.

As for the “Somali-American” officer’s case, it’s deflection, but go ahead, refresh my memory. What did I post about it? And what was the fallout from that case? Did BLM or any other organization stage massive riots over the incident? Was BLM or any other organization threatening massive riots if he wasn’t severely punished? Did the state bring in high-powered lawyers against him?

He should not be convicted of murder. Why? The autopsy clearly showed that he did not cause the death of George Floyd. George Floyd caused the death of George Floyd.

What do you make of this admission by the judge?

“To the extent the defense… I’m probably giving more than the state deserves by allowing you to talk about national standards….”

BLM is a marxist organization. It cares nothing about the content of ones character. It is a godless puppet organization that cares very little about the human condition, which is by nature corrupted in sin.

I notice you never addressed my comment.

Will you reject the rule of law if this verdict doesn't come down as you want it?

What I am really concerned about - if the Police officer is found not guilty - will the other side accept that?

Rule of law is that a Guilty verdict can be appealed, meaning the verdict is not accepted.

But if a person is found guilty, but you know you are innocent - wouldn't you want your lawyer to appeal?

Exactly. The point of my post is that it is ridiculous to suggest that following “Rule of Law” means accepting a Guilty verdict when an appeal is allowed, and especially in a case like this. His posts are chock full of disingenuity, even to the point of looking a lot like a troll.

I doubt they will accept anything but a 1st degree murder with life imprisonment, but that's not what this thread is discussing.

Indeed, there is an appeal process and if Chauvin is found guilty, I expect an appeal will be filed.

It seems you need to create this narrative about me. Is that simply because I find no cause to root for the acquittal of Mr Chauvin? I come to this case with no favorites and no predisposed bias. I will accept the outcome. This is the answer to the OPs question.

    Nope.

He is on trial because, as a law enforcement agent, he performed an unsanctioned maneuver where he kept a person in distress down on the ground by applying force with his knee to the man's neck. He continued this despite the man saying he couldn't breathe and despite his fellow officers inquiry whether he should stop.
The entire incident is video recorded for the jury to see and hear. There are varying degrees of murder and 3rd degree murder, in Minnesota, is unintentional. The defense is tasked with showing there is reasonable doubt.
Chauvin is not on trial for being a cop. He is on trial for assisting the death of George Floyd. It does not matter that Floyd had a significant criminal past. It does not matter that Floyd passed a fake $20 bill. The charge is that Chauvin assisted the death of George Floyd.

    Again I ask:

Did you all fight for the acquittal of Muhammad Noor when he was sentenced to 12.5 years jail time for the death of Justine Rudzcznyk?

Somali-American Police Officer Sentenced to 12.5 Years in Death of Minneapolis Woman (Published 2019)

Let me be very forthright. Did you support this black muslim cop or do you only support white cops who get charged with murder?

Racism in the body of Christ needs to stop.

I am stating that all cops are being targeted and tainted by the witchhunt being carried on by the media and liberals!
