Travel in a congested area (bus, subway, train, elevator, airplane) puts everyone at risk. That risk is thought to be reduced if everyone wears an effective mask. When do the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one? In hospitals, they have negative pressure rooms so contagious germs will not affect others. However in an airplane the air is recirculated such that everyone is exposed to everyone else.

The needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few is a Collectivist ideal. Carried to its final application for Christianity it would mean forced conversion at gunpoint to rid the world of unbelievers. Not only is that not the gospel, it’s not possible. Conversion under duress is not conversion.

Herd Mentality and Herd Insanity are the goal, not Herd Immunity. This isn’t primarily a medical issue at all. If anyone can’t see that by this point, they’re probably just going to stay in a “Two Weeks to Flatten the Curve Groundhog Day” loop forever.

How about the (true example)

When I drove taxi for call-a-bus - (for the disabled.) one day - I had two passengers - one was blind and had a dog - the other was allergic to dogs.

Which client should have the "more right"

in the airport /bus depot - then stay 6 ft away from those without (an ineffective) mask.

On the plane or bus - then the officials can place all the unmasked together. - ie - allow the unmasked on first and they sit -say - in the back of the bus

BTW - I am one of those who is NOT able to wear a mask - so does that mean I loose all my rights? (and Van - please answer that question)

Fauci says put a mask on the blind dude, the dog, and the allergic and all will be well. Better yet, just stay home. Nobody “needs” to go anywhere. Don’t go outside your home. Never leave your bedroom. Remember, it’s for the common good and Christian “lurve”.

Puts everyone at risk of a virus that has a 99% survival rate? Ok.....

No. How did you get through boot camp without being able to wear a gas mask?

I have an old WW1 gas mask, will that work?

I bet the pilot and co-pilot in the cockpit don't wear masks. They need to stay alert and breathe freely.

It is risky to fly anyway. Pilots who got jabbed are dying and putting the lives of hundreds at risk.

What has this got to do with the price of rice in China. Did anyone suggest gas masks were useful for Covid 19?

You posted, "an effective mask".

What is, an effective mask and when an airline mandates a mask do they mandate, an effective mask, or just any old mask as long as you wear one?

If it is that which followed, and, then it is not about your health or anyone's health, it is about something else.

Do they mandate a specific mask. I do not fly, therefore I do not know.

Would it prevent covid 19 from entering my body?
Yes … as well as any other mask.

All filter particles.
None filter virus sized particles (that you can wear outdoors).
All offer some % of reduced risk of inhaling or exhaling water droplets that might contain the COVID virus.

No mask is really very effective in an active virus contaminated area. If they were, a greater number of medical professionals would not be "exposed" for they nearly all wear masks.

It isn't a matter of if, by when one gets the virus.

Wouldn't it be neat if the God of Heaven determined to treat believers as He did the Israeli in Egypt during the last of the plagues. The plagues effected the Egyptians but not the Israeli's.

What a testimony to the preservation of the believer that would be to the world.

Maybe not.

It didn't effect the outcome then, and I doubt that people's hearts would be that less hardened at this time.
