Who wants to join NATO?

Did the United States, or rather the Biden Administration push those other countries to join? People don't usually plead for war when they live close by. Sweden has historically played neutral, and Finland wants no more war with Russia. Of course America dominates Nato, so it could be Biden pushing his weight around. Just like when he tried to make all Americans take vaccine shots against their will.

Putin is pushing Sweden and Finland to seek membership in NATO.

They are watching his butchery of civilians, rape and murder of men women and children, plus the relentless propaganda to justify his butchery (which some on this board embrace as truth and regurgitate in mindless babble)

peace to you

Please ask Squire Robertson if it does not take a 3 to 1 advantage of forces to dislodge a defender. Russia only invaded with 200,000 troops. His goal cannot be taking over Ukraine or he would have invaded with at least a million troops. That's one piece of propaganda that you can at least see through.

Apparently, Putin fired 150 people advising him on Ukraine and put the head guy in jail.

If you are an authority an maniac, believing your own propaganda that Ukrainians would welcome Russia liberating them from “nazis”, you would probably make a horrific miscalculation in how many troops you needed.

I just saw the Ukrainians have just destroyed another Russian warship. Maybe poutin Putin is on his way to a humiliating defeat.

Of course. After all we are fighting a proxy war against Russia. Way to go CIA!

No, not really. Putin has isolated himself from others and reality. When you poison and arrest everyone who might challenge your authority, you make a lot of enemies. That means you can't get straight feedback or associate with others the way you used to do.

Moreover, it seems that Putin expect Zelensky to be a coward and flee with his family (like he would do if the roles were reversed), and didn't realize that Zelensky would be a capable leader who would inspire his already highly-motivated citizenry to mount a resistance to the death.

It's the same mistake Hitler made when he attacked the Soviet Union and expected it to completely collapse within a few weeks.

What country do you represent? You seem to have a bit of an anti-American bias.

The United States of America.
It's time to see through the propaganda. You cannot tell me the Biden Administration promotes Christian values, United States Consitutional values or any good values. Are you buying what they have been selling since before covid with the riots, covid, election fraud, trying to take away Second Amendment rights, the promotion to teach children to pick their own gender?

Back when men fought wars, perhaps. But technology changed that idea long ago.

I'm with you in opposing all the evil of the Biden Administration.

You give the CIA too much credit and the Ukrainian people much too little.

The folks in Afghanistan had about $100 billion of US equipment and fell like a rotten tree in a stiff wind. The Ukrainians are facing a hurricane of Russian forces and are standing strong and fighting back.

Don’t diminish their courage and sacrifice to secure their own freedom against overwhelming odds because of partisan US politics.

Here is from Scott Ritter. He was the UN arms inspector that said Iraq did not have weapons of mass distruction. Guess what. The Bush Administration lied Sudam Hussian did not have weapons of mass distruction.

Part 2 from Scott Ritter, the UN chief weapons inspector who verified and was right that Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction. Even to this day when Former President Bush is asked he admits he (Bush) was wrong about the weapons.
