"Systemic inaction by SBC leaders" is presented in this link: Southern Baptist Convention sexual abuse report details cover up

Among the questions all those in leadership within the ministry of Christ should ask themselves is am I or are we engaged in similar inaction, thus also suppressing truth?

When wrong-doing has been brought to our attention, do we seek to protect the institution (for example the Baptist Board) by inaction or suppression? Or is the cover-up worse than the crime?

Will truth rise to the top in a sea of false charges?

I’m surprised it took this long to make the Board. It is getting the full court press by the presstitutes. As if the leadership of the convention hasn’t already gone left, this seems just another way to go left harder. It is another trick in the bag of pro-left/pro-crt/pro-choicers, & a back handed attack on Christianity itself. One of the talking points is ‘male supremacy’, so there’s your first clue.

I seriously doubt, after the treatment doled out to previous conservative leaders, that the sbc is ‘covering’ for some 700 pastors. I hope the truth will prevail, but my first reaction is this is an inside job by the wokesters who thirst for all the power. If that’s the case, let them reap what they sow. I am no longer engaged with the sbc for quite some time due to their pandering, woke, politically correct ways.

The left ruins everything, just give them the reins & watch the demolition. Here is a prime example of the same new attitude on display in the Catholic sector:

Is this true? Does anyone else see a problem with this? Is this the biblical way of handling this? I do not believe so.

Well thanks for coming along and telling us all this. Good grief we would have never known without you. No, no one needs to ask themselves this.

You seem to have gone out of your way to disparage me. And note the lack of response to the issue I raised. :)

Has the issue been addressed individually and not been repented of?
Has the issue gone to the local church body and not been repented of?
Has the regional committee dealt with this and it is still not repented of?

If all this has already happened with no repentance, then the whole body must address it.

    Let us remember:

For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

    Greetings,

Where is the proof? I do not see it.......or are they under threat if they truly reveal the underbellies of that organization?

Mat_10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
Mat_11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
Luk_2:35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
Luk_12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
    Rom_1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Co 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost

1Co_3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

    The Lord bless you.....

really? You think I disparaged you? You didnt raise an issue you made one up using a very difficult and real issue as your spring board.

The issue raised in the OP was not the guilt or innocence of those charged with malfeasance, but the issue of those in leadership acting with candor even if the impact of the action might seem to harm the organization. Will truth rise to the top in a sea of false charges?

    Greetings,

I have not once thought you "disparaged" me.
So I do not understand what you were trying to point out in your statement: "You didnt raise an issue you made one up using a very difficult and real issue as your spring board."

    Thank you for your patience......

Right that is what I am saying, has all of that actually happened? If not, what they are doing is not biblical.
