Among the questions all those in leadership within the ministry of Christ should ask themselves is am I or are we engaged in similar inaction, thus also suppressing truth?
When wrong-doing has been brought to our attention, do we seek to protect the institution (for example the Baptist Board) by inaction or suppression? Or is the cover-up worse than the crime?
