Leftists constantly point to "big oil, or big pharma, or the greedy little mom and pop gas station operators. Never at big government, but it is the dictatorships (think NAZI, or Communist) that murdered more than 50 million humans in the last century.
The real power to fear is big government.

My family (wife and three kids) all have natural immunity. The families we know who vaccinated their kids have all had COVID multiple times now, and are still living in fear of the next wave.

    Not us.

Oh no. You got to get 4 shots or you gonna die.
I had the orig variant of COVID. It was not asymptomatic, but pretty much so. I had a few sinus infections and later tested positive for antibodies. One of those was probably COVID, if not then I was truly asymptomatic. I had Delta and it was rough. It was like the flu. I am sure that later on, I had asymptomatic OMICRON. My two sons and wife had it. We did not try to stay away from each other or take any precautions. Being in constant contact with them, there is no way I avoided getting it, but I had no symptoms. My oldest son came in crawled in the bed with me every night the whole time he had it.

The jabbed folks I know that got OMICRON got sick as dogs.
The CDC won't release the data, here. In Europe, 9 out of 10 OMICRON deaths are fully or partially vaxed.

Jon C sure posted an awful lot for someone who does not care. Even posted his silly sticky.
You like data. You need to look at how worthless your vax now is.

I do like data. The data shows the vaccine actually did help. But now? I mean, we need a new flu vaccine twice a year, and it doesn't even keep up. So will an almost three year vaccine still be effective?

Looks like you are stuck in the past, bro. Just lick your wounds and move forward.

You said you would take another booster. Even if it's the same?
You are the one with the wounds. You got vaxed.

Just to be a little more accurate. We get a flu shot, not a vaccine, each year.

A vaccine will provide lasting protection (decades if not lifetime even), which is why we don’t get polio, mumps, measles etc vaccines every year.

What we got was a shot. I had the Covid before the shot and I believe, based on the new info, my natural immunity is far superior to the shot, which I’m certain has already worn off.

BTW, I still believe the Covid shot is useful for those most at risk. Infants and children, however, have near perfect immunity to this virus and it is insanity to expose them to this shot without knowing the long term effects.

    peace to you

No, not if it's the same...unless it is shown that still be effective.

The vaccine has been proven to be effective against the virus. I'm just not sure if it will continue to be as the virus changes.

This is not quite true. The pneumonia vaccine provides protection against pneumonia but is not a lifelong protection (and it can even cause pneumonia). Same with the shingles vaccine, the rubella vaccine.

A "shot" is how the treatment is delivered.

Have you actually listened to Rand Paul grilling Fauchi? The vaccine has not been "proven" effective. It's effectiveness has only been tested in one age group. They assume the fact that antibody response in the other age groups is "effectiveness". He even admitted that in kids the vaccine did not reduce hospitalization or serious illness.
You do know that more vaxed are dying than unvaxed. Vaxed are the ones getting hammered by the second wave of OMICRON.

I have. I heard him explain that natural immunity is as good as the COVID vaccines. I happen to agree with him on that.
