Why were you supporting letting businesses require vaccines of those who had natural immunity?

Because I do not support removing rights from businesses. Businesses have had the right to require vaccines. It is rare they do, but they could.

Same with masks. I am opposed to the government removing the right of a business to require a mask, or not to require one for that matter.

This one does not affect me, but I view taking away rights as a slippery slope.

I view businesses as property to be administered by the business owner. The potential consumer or employee makes their decision, but they do not actually take direct control of the business decision.

That said, I do understand there is sometimes a need.

That is a case of a balance of freedom. By supposedly giving businesses freedom, you are taking away the freedom of the individual.

I'm not talking about a balance of freedom. I'm talking about not wanting to sacrifice freedom in order to gain other freedoms.

I just think it is a bad idea in general to take away the right of a private business owner and give those rights to the public.

I guess I'm looking down the road. You want it because of your feelings on COVID. But I keep thinking about the possible ramifications for the future if we go that direction in principle.

We saw some of it with abortions. When Roe vs Wade was in effect businesses were often unable not to support abortions financially should their employees choose an abortion.

I never got any shots, nor has my wife nor brother nor his family… we are all still here and enjoying life!

I speak to my son in Florida and they think we are all nuts…but they aren’t exposed to the crowded sewer they laughingly call New York City. :Sick

Big business is like government. It is too centralized. Freedom should protect individuals from large centralized groups.

There are two issues. First, I am a capitalist so I do not believe businesses should be penalized for growing. But second, and more importantly, taking away those rights is not being discussed as only taking away rights from big businesses.

If I own a HVAC company with 20 employees, are you OK with me keeping my rights as a business owner to require my employees be vaccinated or are you thinking the right should be taken away from me?

Why should you have the right to require them to be vaccinated? You don't have the right to require them to be Christian. You don't have the right to require them to register as a Republican.

Why is not the point (I'd guess because it affects other employees and consumers, but that doesn't matter).

The point is people DO have that right and have had that right in the US.

I am simply opposed to the asking away rights as I see our rights eroding quickly. This particular one is not the issue. The issue is when we lay down and allow rights to be taken away we become accustomed to rights being taken away.

I support the right for people to carry a gun (I don't think we should have to purchase a license). But at the same time I support an employer's right to ban guns from his establishment.

I support the right to pray in public. But at the same time I support an employer's right to restrict religious expression in the workplace.

I support people's right to wear baggy pants sagging below their underwear. But at the same time I support the employers right to endorse a dress code.

I support a protesters right to disrespect the office of the President, but at the same time I respect the boss's right to say "not on my dime".

I support people's right to make their own health care decisions. But at the same time I support the right of business owners to make requirements he, or she, deems appropriate for the safety of their employees and customers.

You are willing to strip away people's rights when you agree with the reasons, but what about when you don't? That's the problem.

You keep posting things that lack information in order to reach your predetermined conclusion. What you intentionally withhold in order to support your faulty claim is that these vacs have a potential to do damage to people who take them. If it was just a matter of taking a vaccine and its good for you that is one thing. Trying to force employees to take something that has a danger to it in order to keep their job is quite another. Then you try to wrap it up in capitalism. What you are supporting is crony capitalism which is mixed up with the government. The government is pushing these vacs and trying to withhold or give benefits to the employers for doing so. I am for real capitalism and not crony captilalism. I find your posts disengenuous at best.

This is another false claim. It is an example of you misrepresenting what I have posted in order to place your ideas in a better light.

    And it is completely false.

    As evidence:

    1. I posted early on that I had a second cousin, 18 years old, who had repeatedly been admitted to the hospital with heart issues caused by the Pfizer covid vaccination.

    2. I also posted in opposition to mandatory vaccinations.

    3. And I have posted against the government requiring businesses to mandate vaccines.

What we really disagreed about is whether current laws should be changed to prohibit business owners from requiring vaccinations as a condition of employment. Currently they can, and I believe that the market will ultimately determine business choices.

You, however, advocate that the government step in and make laws stripping the rights of business owners to make decisions because some employees or potential employees may disagree with the owners decision and have to choose between consenting to the employers requirements or leaving that employment.

You think that is capitalism, but it isn't. Your desire is a move towards a more socialistic idea as it removes the decision from the owner and gives it to the people.

I really do not care insofar as this specific issue goes, but if your agenda moves forward, in principle it could have far reaching ramifications.

Why is the vaccine still emergency use? Do you see an emergency that would currently not only authorize it’s use but continue to mandate it? 40,000 National Guard will be terminated, while this administration lets illegals pour in with no mandates or even tests. Sounds like an evil empire to me.

40,000 unvaccinated National Guard members set to be fired!

It doesn't matter what their reason is. When you are in the military you have no say.

Two and 3-year-old kids with seizures is "the new normal"
I'm getting multiple reports from my nurse friends about kids 2 and 3 years old having seizures. It is ONLY happening on vaccinated kids, and symptoms start 2 to 5 days after the COVID vaccine.

Doctors are mystified by a rash of seizures, rashes, etc. happening to 2 and 3-year-old kids.

The only thing these kids have in common is that they were given the COVID vaccine just days earlier (two to five days earlier).

The doctors cannot figure out what is causing the seizures (since it couldn’t be the vaccine since those are safe and effective). The medical staff is not permitted to talk about the cases to the press or on social media or they will be fired.

One nurse posted something to the effect of “how is this legal????” I had to paraphrase to protect the poster.

This is why you are hearing these reports from me. They can’t fire me.

There is nothing on the mainstream media about this since the nurses and doctors aren’t allowed to talk about it.

This will all come out some day, but for now, everyone is keeping quiet about it and the doctors are instructed to convince the parents that it isn’t vaccine related and that they are the only ones having the problem.

    Because that’s how science works.
