War in Donbass: Key Moments From Eight-Year Conflict

"Eight years ago this week, Kiev kicked off its ‘anti-terrorist operation’ in Donbass. The fiercest battles of the war were fought between 2014 and 2015. After that, the civil conflict turned into a war of position, but troops and civilians alike continued to die in both Donetsk and Lugansk. The war claimed the lives of over 13,000 people."

Yes, this is Sputnik News. But that should not automatically disqualify the source.

Toward the end of the article there is a link to photo evidence of what the Kiev regime did to the Donbas.

How should a central government react to a rebellious region? Remember the ACW?

Were we rebellious when we wanted to separate from the overbearing governance of George III? And the Donbas region was not rebellious. They just wanted fair representation for their culture and language, both of which the Kiev regime was in the process of stamping out.At first, the Donbas region was not seeking to break way into two separate republics. They just wanted those basic rights.

The Kiev regime is not a government. That term implies legitimacy. That regime is what we put in place. It was not a shining example of democracy. We installed our people there. Not just in Kiev, but in Odesa and several other cities and positions.

Victoria Nuland and U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt saw to it that Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Petro Poroshenko were put in place as, respectively, Prime Minister and President.

The present leader of the Kiev regime outlaws all other political parties, placing one of them on house arrest in an undisclosed location. Do you really think that they are the good guys?

Yes. The American colonists rebelled against England’s crown. To deny that is to deny reality.

The Ukraine must be the Good guys. Chuckie, Nancy, and Joe say the Ukraine is the Good guys. They would never lie.
