In the case if judges/justices, I think the whole process is under the authority of the Senate. I don’t think the house has a role.

Never happen. Just stupid liberals venting.

    peace to you

Only the wicked want to impeach him. May the Lord rebuke them!

According to CNN (and AJS) process is the same as the POTUS

I’ll have to do a little research. Perhaps the federal judiciary, minus SCOTUS need only Senate votes.

I don’t trust anything CNN, the king of disinformation, puts out.

    peace to you

I stand corrected. Looks like Article 1 of COTUS covers it. The process is the same. Starts in house with simple majority, 2/3 to remove after trial in Senste.

I’ll make a note for future reference.

    peace to you

Yeah, it looks like it’s the same for most cases. The only time it’s different is when the president has been impeached. Then the chief justice presides in the senate trial.

Pardon an ignorant Brit, but on what basis might he be impeached?

Particularly poignant is Kathy Griffin's observation that "[Ginni Thomas] is NUTS" :Wink (also quoted in the following article).

Kathy Griffin Wants Clarence Thomas Impeached Over 'Extremist' Wife Ginni

Ginni Thomas is a legit extremist. After my Trump photo scandal, the craziest of magas would flood my social media & even send letters to my house about me being imprisoned in Guantánamo Bay! They would mock up pictures and memes of me in the jumpsuit and everything. She is NUTS pic.twitter.com/YdGdRGHHvc

    (Bold my emphasis)

Somebody else said "NUTS" -- But why?
    'Surrender to the Germans? Nuts!'

He is against abortion. That was the primary reason then Senator Biden fought against his appointment.

Thomas, sent texts to former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows urging him to overturn the results of the 2020 election, according to information obtained by the Washington Post and CBS.
This is false. What she did was encourage him to stand against an obvious fraud.

I don’t see how a justice of SCOTUS could be impeached for something their spouse said. Just more silly over reaction.

    peace to you

Different strokes for different folks you see. If Thomas was liberal and it was the Republicans calling for impeachment it would be labeled racist.
