I wonder if Democrats and Republicans have started to regret making the federal government basically all-pervasive in American life in its size, reach, and scope?
Also, I find this talk about Trump being a dictator to be rather interesting. Aren’t all of these edicts and rules put forth by President Biden(and his predecessors) acts of dictatorship, telling people what type of vehicle they can buy or how electricity can be produced, etc., etc., etc.? Seems to me that what is really being debated, and much angst being expressed about, is over who gets to be the dictator, not if there will be one.
But, of course, I am a minarchist stuck in the 1890s in my political thinking.
