Parts of upstate New York could get 100 inches of snow this weekend! Some places already have 70 inches.

I bet it is an additional 20-30 inches on top of the 70-80" to make it a total of 100"
Thats still an amazing amount of snow to fall in a short time. What is the elevation? -
A few short years ago, we got two storms in two days each dropping 4 feet of fresh snow..total of 8 feet in two days.....that covered Eastern Ontario and upper New York as well.
That is close to 100 inches......So, I am not surprised.

It is most certainly a sure sign of global warming.
Just like the unusually warm winter we were having a few weeks ago was a sure sign.
peace to you:praying: -

I just hope it's cleared up by the second week in March, as we have to be in Chicago then.

I have a hard time picturing 100 inches of snow. I saw 30+ inches in NW Indiana on a few occasions, but goodness that is a lot of snow!

I guess if Hell ever freezes over it will be because of Global warming! -
Many years ago we drove up to Crater Lake when we heard they'd plowed the road. Snow was 12 feet deep and probably 15 or more where the snow blowers had been. But the day was magnificent, with clear deep blue sky's and much deeper blue water. My friend and I skied back down probably 15 miles. Great fun.

ABC World News (formerly ABC World News Tonight) reported that Oswiego, NY, received 11 feet of snow. It stopped snowing, but NY could get more snow this week. YIKES!
