Personally, the names do not bother me in the least, because I know they aren't true, and I realize that I might be taking it wrong, or the person has conveyed something in the wrong manner. I just brought this up, to show the point in my post. To me, it is just as bad, if not worse, to label, or false accuse, or assume, or imply that a person said or believes something that they do not, instead of just asking, and then listening to the answer. But that seems to be the order of the day around here (myself included).

Any variation that seems to appear between two Bibles
(for example the NIV and the NASB) can likewise be resolved.
But we cannot resolve these temporary variants that we seem
to see by puting on blinders to all Bibles save one.

To accept the view you have, Sister Michelle (note i'm
trying not to tell you what your view is),
you have to assume:
"This book is God's true word." You may not have
gone through this logic, but you don't have to
conciously assume your assumptions.
OTOH, I assume all Bibles are the true word of God.
I have never found this assumption to lead me to an
error. Nor have I ever found an error in any Bible.
Yes, i found some places I don't understand, but someday
maybe i will.

BTW, I have a real problem now with taking a book
that doesn't tell you what it is (or that distinguishes
between itself and similiar books) and assuming of it:
"This book is God's true word."

Just today a book was left out in my Living Room
(my DW left it there). It says "Holy Bible" on the
outside, but it doesn't say which version, which
edition. I've got today 16 Bibles on my computer shelve.
Fifteen of them tell what they are.
The 16th does not tell what it is.
Strangely, if we compared these 16 bibles of mine to
your Bible, we would find the closest match between
your Bible and my Unknown Book. This should not
be so. If your Bible is a real Bible, let it say
what it is. There are some Bibles correctly marked
as KJV1769 and KJV1762, but these are rare.

Church discipline is probably too drastic for most cases, unless the issue is causing a division in the Body of Christ.
