Rivers of tears from radical liberal leftest in politics and media as POT:S wins big, including winning New York, Pol:si loses her seat and the house goes to repubs. Senate expands repub majority to 56/44.
a lesson from old England, perhaps. in 2017 our PM was 19 % ahead of her opponent, and she called an election. the result was that the very small majority, 5, that the Tory party had, was lost, and Mrs May the PM had to try to govern with a deal with the Northern Ireland party, which did not work out. so much for the polls! :Rolleyes
I have no "special knowledge" of the future, so my view is my hope for the future.
Mr. Trump is re-elected, winning Florida, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
The Republicans take the House and hold on to the Senate.
My bet is President Trump carries southern swing states like Florida and loses suburban Midwest states like Pennsylvania he carried last time. Election is a week away, I'll see if I'm right or wrong soon.
Florida tends to always be close. I would be shocked if I picked 50 out 50 states correctly. However, Florida plans to get its vote counting completed on election night, so if Biden does win Florida, then the race is over. There is not a really viable path for Trump without winning Florida; he could still win but it would be like winning the Power Ball lottery jackpot two nightly draws in a row.
SCOTUS didn’t decide the 2000 election. The Fla Secretary of State certified B:sh as the winner by about 500 votes, according to Fla law. That gave him the win.
SCOTUS said state officials can’t change the rules after the election.
FTR: Every recount done in 2000 Fla showed B:sh winning.
Trump is good in most of the rust belt.
PA has a lot of fracking jobs but the problem is Philadelphia.
Ohio is safe for Trump.
Indiana is safe for Trump.
Minnesota is very leftist so it is dubious as the rural areas are leftists unlike other states in the Great Lakes area.
Illinois is a no man's land of Democrats.
That's what I heard. I figure President Trump takes Ohio and Indianna. Only two real candidates in the Midwest otherwise, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Those are turn out wars. If Trump takes both, he wins and done deal. If he loses both, he likely loses the election. If he wins one, he can still lose if Biden surprises in the southern US.
