Here are five facts about the state of our union that Pres. Obama neglected to mention in last night’s speech:
1. While calling for higher taxes, Obama failed to mention that the federal government took in a record $739 billion in tax revenue in the first quarter of FY15 and STILL ran a $176 billion deficit.
2. A record number of Americans are not in work force – including a record number of women not in work force.
3. Obamacare has caused nearly five million people to lose their health plans and remains extremely unpopular with Americans.
4. More than 46 million Americans have been on food stamps for 38 straight months.
5. The price of ground beef is at record levels.

That's the Marxist response.

6. Shiite rebels are controlling the Yemen government. (Obama had recently called US actions in Yemen, primarily drone strikes, a victory in the war on terror.)
7. Degradation of race relations in the U.S.
8. Inaction or failure to pass legislation aimed at reducing gun violence. He had made a big deal out of it last year.

I don't see why Obama should mention the price of ground beef in the SOTU address, nor do I understand the response to eat more vegetables.
Rev: "Gasoline prices are at a five year low."
CTB: "Wash your car more often."

Marxists, as Curtis has rightly discerned it, do not like cows being used for food. It is an animal rights thing. They believe animals should be treated as humans. Since this is true they have co-opted the eating of beef into the man made global warming myth. They suggest that cow flagellation is contributing to the issue. Only liberals would think of something so absurd and see that as being reasoned at all. So they suggest to forget about the rising costs and simply change your diet to fit their agenda.
The rising costs of beef is a big problem for a struggling economy. -

1. Cows create methane and use more resources to raise as food than other meats. If demand goes down due to high prices, less cows will be raised, less damage to the environment.
2. The high cost of beef is good because it will cause people to shift to other meats or vegetables. -
