His Imperial Majesty B.O. (HIM BO) told 5 big lies:
1. “I know some of the critics of this action call it amnesty. Well, it’s not. Amnesty is the immigration system we have today… That’s the real amnesty – leaving this broken system the way it is.”
"...deporting illegal aliens is amnesty but giving them legal status isn’t..."
2. We are a nation of laws.
That came from the lips of HIM BO, as the imperial Democrats/Communists applauded.
3. 'Amnesty for 5 million illegals isn’t “mass amnesty”'
HIM BO said that 5,000,000,000 is a mass number.
4. "But even as we focus on deporting criminals, the fact is, millions of immigrants – in every state, of every race and nationality – will still live here illegally…”
It is criminal to be here illegally.
5. “I know that some worry immigration will change the very fabric of who we are, or take our jobs, or stick it to middle-class families at a time when they already feel like they’ve gotten the raw end of the deal for over a decade. I hear these concerns. But that’s not what these steps would do.”
HIM BO claims that there will be no horrible problems caused by his imperial order.

Of course, HIM BO told more lies than those 5 last night.

You have a real problem with reading comprehension skills.
Example: #5. Obama never said there would be NO horrible problems, he said these immigrants would not take our jobs and would not stick it to the middle class.
#4. It is criminal to be here illegally. Yes, and Obama didn't say it wasn't.
#3 Oh, and 5 Million is written like this: 5,000,000. -

Correct that I did err in writing 5 billion instead of 5 million.
On # 5, Obama just said that his program would not do what everyone knows that it will do.
You missed the point on # 4. Obama said that he was going to deport criminals still but it is criminal to be here illegally but Obama is not going to deport illegals--he said so himself.
What happened to your hazmat suit? -

And let’s be honest, tracking down, rounding up and deporting millions of people isn’t realistic.
Obama is de facto admitting that these people are criminals. Unless you think non-criminals are tracked down, rounded up, and kicked out of the country?

HIM BO lied when he implied that illegals are not criminal felons.

Make it a felony to cross the border illegally, make it a felony to hire illegals and they will go home.

So exactly why are the GOP and political conservatives so against what he put forth? Didn't both Reagan and Bush do something similar?
When laws are broken, you either pay a fine or go to jail. He's given them an option to legally get the ball rolling to do the right thing.
So why all the fuss?
Wait you're referring to him as HIM so never mind. Question answered.
Lost two elections.

Subsequently, Congress passed a law saying that what Reagan and Bush Sr. did should not be done again even though they had acted upon shortcomings in the Congressional law and had acted in support of Congressional law.
So therefore Congress made it illegal in the 1990s for Obama to do what he did. -
