I'm not voting for Obama. But I'm able to base my not voting for him on facts, not the repetition of forwarded emails, urban legends, etc.

Some of the folks who propagate the stuff on here are not exactly hurting Obama's cause.

He should have visited WV. But I saw him on the news last week saying basically, he knew Hillary would win WV, but he didn't care...

There are so many democrats angry with Obama here... I have heard at least 8 out of 10 people that voted for Hillary say if Obama wins the nomination, they will vote for McCain.

Obama has the image here of being an snobby rich guy!
And has really ticked off our democrats...

The 57 states are the nations in the Organisation of the Islamic Conference.

I am aware of the organization. That is where the other link "linked" to.

But this attempted linkage on the part of some of the BB members is still a ridiculous stretch frankly, IMO.

I agree with C4K. There are enough substantive issues, regarding Sen. Obama, (and with Sen. Clinton and with Sen. McCain and with most of the other candidates, for that matter) without resorting to these tactics.

There are far more members of the Islamic religion to be found in the United States (approx. 4M from a best guess scenario, give or take a million or so), Russia (~8M+), France (~5M+) or England (~1.5M) than there are total populations in several of these countries. Even Canada where an estimated 2% is Muslim, out of an estimated total population of 33M (4M less than California, alone) which would give her some 650K has a larger Muslim population than at least 5 of these 57 states (Guinea-Bissau, Brunei, Comorros, Maldives, Surinam, Djibouti) have in total populations. Israel has a Muslim population (~1.3M+) or a third of that of the 'Palestine state' (~3.9M). Some nations have far more than any of these already mentioned, including China (~40M, or about half again as many Muslims as either Saudi Arabia or Iraq have people) and India where 150M+ Muslims give it the third largest Muslim population in the world, trailing only Indonesia (~195M) and Pakistan (~158M).

Let's get a little perspective, here, with some actual numbers.

The last time a democrat won without a win in WV was in 1916. Not quite 100 years yet, but like everyone else in the Democrat race, the numbers don't seem to add up, or make sense :BangHead: .

If Obama is nominated, WV will go for McCain The democrats here are furious that He snubbed us last week, and that his people are saying they can win without us, he doesn't need our vote.

Yeah.. .very smart... Just counting states out B.O. ...especially traditional Democrat states...

When the Democrats outnumber Republicans 3 to 1 in WV... and a democrat says he doesn't need them to win... that democrat is asking for it!

His only saving grace will be if he picks Hillary to be his running mate.
But then it will still be a tight race here.
