A good word with many more like it popping up all over. This is what we should have been doing before the election. But better late than never.

This is so good I wanted to pull out a quote:

So let’s pray for President Obama. Let’s not give ourselves to terms of disrespect, or every crazy conspiracy theory that floats across the Internet.

That doesn’t mean slavish obedience. In a democratic republic, the President and the Congress govern by the consent of the governed. We appeal to our elected officials, and lobby them for the common good, expressing disagreement when we must. But we do this, as Paul does before Felix and Agrippa, with respect and honor, even as he seeks to persuade them of the need for religious liberty and as he preaches “righteousness and self-control and the coming judgment” (Acts 24:25).

However we voted in the election, let’s pray for God to bless our President. We can pray for him to be granted wisdom and health. We can pray that God would prosper his good ideas, and change his mind on his bad ideas. Moreover, we can teach our children to respect our President, starting with referring to him as “President Obama” or “Our President,” not as “Obama” or “the guy our parents voted against” or what have you.

There’s a time to vote. There’s a time to campaign. And there’s a time to petition. But, through it all, let’s be the people who, even as we speak with conviction, are marked by kindness and respect. When we have to differ with President Obama, let’s do that, with backbone. But let’s make sure we do all this with honor, with respect, with prayer, and, most of all, with love.

Let’s render unto Caesar, as free people with natural rights. Because we know as believers that we will eternally say “Jesus is Lord,” we can as citizens temporally say, “Hail to the chief.”

I still want the guy grilled by a a congressional sub-committee, exposed for the fraud & screw up he is, then thrown out of office.

His hidden agenda's (plural) are killing the USA. I pray for that day to happen soon. :thumbs:

I did just this today with my 9 year old daughter. We were talking about the election and she said "So Obama won, huh." I told her that we need to show respect and we should call him President Obama and not just a last name. I don't like using just last names for anyone (the high school drove me nuts because so many teachers told my kids to address them with just the last name so it was "Hunt" instead of "Mr. Hunt"). It is a respect issue and so we should always use the person's proper name when speaking of them.

I prayed for BO, oh sorry President BO, for 4 years.....thats before & even during his bail out, his food stamp programs & expanded welfare entitlements, his throwing Iranian Students under the bus, his planned reduction of military, his snubbing Israel, his drown warfare, his support of abortion & homosexual marriages, his left leaning Supreme court nominees, his Gitmo plans --to disband & trials in USA, his mass spending, his Universal Health Care mess, his tong & cheek commentary about Putin, his stupidity that lead to American deaths in Libya, his disregard for US Military personnel by leaking intel......yada yada yada.

Are we to just forget these things & give this guy a pass because he has no moral character..... I think he has already stepped over the line, dont you? If the military has to produce a video to basically tell him to Shut Up (I even cleaned it up)..... and that isnt normally military protocol by any stretch.....well then!

I pray for justice upon him and the Democrats, and for peaceful, lovers of liberty to be delivered from evil.

Here's a prayer of Christ's Spirit:

I pray that God remove them speedily (not choosy about the form of that removal) that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.​
