A gunman got through capitol security

    A gunman got through capitol security today.

    Thankfully he did not hurt anyone.

    It just shows, once again, how vulnerable we really are, despite all the measures taken. However, the police were in hot pursuit and he never really had a chance to do much, if that was his intention.

    It may be that some of you saw FoxNews cable TV right after the British police thwarted that plot to take out ten airliners. My son-in-law, Don Rondeau, was interviewed by Fox, and took the reporter around several places in New York where he said it was very difficult to develop complete security. He went on, however, to say that we are fortunate, in this climate, not to have had more attacks succeed.
