On the fourth day God, an argument being, in an instant created all the stars and their galaxies and giving them a real history of their millions and billions of years. Why not?

Adam saw the same night sky that you see. Adam got his history from dust to full grown male most intelligent and strongest man ever in a minute or two one 24-hour day.

You weren’t there. The eyewitness is Adam and he left a book that Noah preserved and Moses used to write Genesis. The second eyewitness is Jesus who said FROM the beginning God made them male and female and so Jesus confirms that Adam was at the beginning of Biblical Creation.

Adam and Eve were special creations by God. There is no such process as evolution be it "hominids" or horses. End of discussion.

This idea of "instant history" is a very overused excuse offered by YEC adherents. Why did God need to do this? It would be as if The Creator set out to deceive His intelligent humans. A vast ancient universe speaks of the timelessness of The Creator Himself. Why is there any need to explain this vast and ancient universe as anything else but what it appears?

Big Bang is not necessary when you create everything ex nihilo.

Mankind did NOT evolve. End of discussion.

Bogus belief without any real reason to even consider as a fact. Not even worthy of intelligent discussion.

Being a staunch YEC adherent causes such faulty arguments which are like "Can God make a rock He cannot lift?" Reasoning one into a useless oblivion...

OEC folks don't see extreme age as an issue and since evolution just CANNOT ever happen -- extreme age doesn't make any difference for this issue.

Oh here we go again -- yet another ridiculous suggestion made decades ago by desperate YEC adherents. E=mC squared. C is a constant in reality. Ergo one is able to successfully design an atomic weapon.

Correct. Extreme gravity wells in spacetime can warp light's speed and direction. But this reality would serve to only effect light in a few areas in the universe at large -- not effectively altering the obvious age and size determination of the universe.

Again, the universe and the earth are very, very olde.

Something awful happened to the earth after Genesis 1:1

There was then a local remaking, reforming of "the land" as Sailhamer calls it. Genesis 1:2 and thereafter discusses this.

Humans were brought into being by special creation from dust.

Hominids existed in various sizes and polymorphs but they aren't our ancestors. They too were special creatures made by God.

There is micro-change in lifeforms but no macro-change. Whales don't leave the oceans. And dinosaurs don't change into birds.

    Colossians 1:16

End of story. Just accept it. I do and I am totally at peace with it. From a former stubborn YEC to now a fully informed OEC, I am totally at rest with biblical origins issues.

May Ken Hamm see the light too one day.

We usually close posts at about 130 posts - by then several pages - often the same thing is repeated several times. For someone new - takes a long time to go thu the entire discussion.

Normally, a new thread can be started and the old page can be linked on the OP

    Hope that answers your question.
