I just heard this yesterday and I'm wondering how this will shake out for the Republican party as it stumbles around in politically?
A Palin Divorce and what are the ramifications for the Republicans?

Well, I suppose they can't really claim to be the 'family values' Party. I mean, they won't be able to bang on about same-sex 'marriage' with an elephant that size in their drawing room.

What silliness. Others in the party fail so the whole party must be silent? Did you really think about that before you posted? -

Ah, so it's "do as I say, not as I do"? Now that is silliness. Did you really think about the rank hypocrisy you are advocating before you posted?

This does not help her political future.
The Republicans remain in disarray. The party thrives -- and survives -- on strong leaders.
Reagan had "family values" issues yet remains the patron saint of Conservative Republicans. -
Personally, I've never seen in Gov. Palin all that other conservatives seem to see. I always thought she was a light weight who had some good speech writers who knew how to put together a sound bite.
But I am sorry if they are going to divorce. -

So you drag your won thread off topic and with false accusations to boot. -

Palin is just another in a long line of republican hypocrites.
The party of "family values" indeed! -
Sadly, people keep looking to the Republicans to save us. They are unable to save us. They are unable to even save themselves. The Republicans are in total disarray. Their ungodly ways are killing them. They spout off about family values out of one side of their mouth while flirting with their mistress out of the other side. There are only two differences in general between Reps and Dems today - ideology and the Dems don't even bother trying to look moral. The Republicans are such hypocrites that it just kills them. Most of the politicians up there in Washington are just totally corrupt, totally morally bankrupt, and not many of them (if any of them) has any clue.
Sooner of later people need to realize that the Republicans will not save us. The country needs to turn to Jesus Christ, honor Him, repent of our many terrible sins, and try to be a country that follows His teachings. If we will turn to God He will heal our land. We won't, thus we are on a fast track to utter destruction. Meanwhile people are too busy playing partisan politics to notice or care, including many well meaning Christians. Wake up people!
