The soldiers that guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier are a highly disciplined and highly dedicated group of men. If anyone is interested you can look into the added duties and responsibilities they take on in order to have that honor. They have a history of remaining on duty in times of great peril. One of the men I served with during the Kosovo Campaign had been a guard.
