And how is the question posed in the OP wrong? -
"and have tasted of the heavenly gift,
"and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
"And have tasted the good word of God,
"and the powers of the world to come,
"And they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh,
"and put him to an open shame. . . ." All of which falls under that subject of being ". . . impossible . . . ." -
you quote well, what is your point?
Heb 6:3
And this will we do, if God permit.
What will be spoken about , possibly later? Salvation.
Why is initial Salvation not going to be talked about ?
Heb 6:9¶
But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak
He wants to speaks of maturity
so verses 4 -8 have to do with Salvation and why it is impossible to fall away. Once it is settled it is settled
Can you crucify Christ again? every time you sin?
Christ died for ALL SIN...He was God and sufficient to cover SIN total., Anything you can do cannot change His work or His love for us or keep His word -

Hebrews 6:4-6, ". . . For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, And they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. . . ."
