The plane disappearing and reappearing is the subject matter of the NBC TV series, "Manifest". But the time gap was 5 years, not 35 years. A somewhat intriguing show.
Maybe it just hit the same time-warp with the plane????? (JK!!)
I do remember back in '63 or '64 when I was at Ft Bragg, I was gonna watch TV one day, tuned on
the set (B&W 19" portable:Sneaky), and caught a test pattern from a station in Texas. Don't remember the city, but by some method (don't remember how now) I learned that this particular station had been off air for several years.
Still haven't reconciled this to reality, except to accept that the electronic waves of the pattern had just gotten weaker over time, but some fluke of nature decided to rattle my brain with this display!!??
Here's another interesting one for the airplane techies out there. This really makes me respect the job pilots can do in an emergency. It reminds me of the pilot that crash-landed a flight from LaGuardia in the Hudson River managing to save everyone's lives who were on board and not crash into Manhattan.
To get to Caracas from Miami the plane would have most likely have entered the Bermuda Triangle. This is an area that has had many stories like this one told over the years.
Because the number of disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle is no greater than any other similarly trafficked area of the world’s oceans, they don’t really need an explanation here is the link
