Also helpful Verses to show what the Flesh Nature is:
James 3:14-15
14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth.
15 This wisdom (*of jealous/selfishness/flesh nature) is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural,
demonic.
NASU
James 4:2
2 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do
not have because you do not ask.
NASU
James 4:4
4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to
be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
NASU
Rom 8:7-8
7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not
even able to do so,
8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
NASU
Rom 8:5-8
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the
Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then,
those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
NKJV
Rom 8:12-14
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors--not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the
flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. NKJV
And also: Is the 'flesh nature' redeemed or to be "put to death through the Holy Spirit"?
And also: So is 'bitter jealous etc.' of the sin nature - of the flesh nature according to What God's Word here says? And
so what is to be done with it by The Spirit of God that abides in us?
And is this ~wisdom~ (flesh nature/deeds of the body" which is bitter envy, strife and such) earthly, sensual and
demonic when it's in our heart according to James and the apostle Paul:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the

Gal 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in

Gal 5:16-17
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulful the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other:
so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

The flesh is the carnal natural man which will be redeemed at the coming of Jesus Christ if one is a believer.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:51-57
That which is born again, born from above, born of God is the inward man which does not sin, and is in a constant battle with the flesh. The inward man delights in the law of the Lord, but the flesh is sold under sin.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Romans 7:22-23
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1 John 3:9
Those who are believers are continually putting the natural man to death as they are in Christ Jesus, and are sealed unto the day of redemption by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the earnest payment until Jesus returns to redeem those that the Father gave Him.
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Peace~ -
First the scripture does not says flesh nature. It simplty says if we are in the flesh. That termonology is a synonym for still being lost. We are not born again in otherds. Our hearts and desires are not surrendered to God in Christ and we are in the flesh.

Hi there again - God bless!
Maybe the Scripture verses needs to be looked at before this Topic can move on - (Posts #2-3).
What is the *nature/Character* of the flesh, according to God's Word?
What does it look like in our lives - since us Christian's are being spoken to in God's Word by God's Spirit.
We all know Jesus here but what is Paul's Epistles teaching us after God's Penticost - the receiving of God's Spirit?
If even a Christian sows to the *flesh* he will reap corruption.
What IS God's Holy Spirit thru Paul talking about?
In other words, what would we be *sowing* in our lives
to the flesh, for corruption to be reaped, (again) even in a Christian's Life.
So, God's Spirit is not speaking about a lost man verses a saved one, my friend gerald285.
God's not comparing us like saying 'us and them'. No! He is speaking to who? To us Christian's as
a warning - to the Saved - to warn us about certain things.
Maybe I can ask you all to start listing the 'sowings' that even Christian's would
reap corruption by doing.
The Gospel is simple, :love2:

Flesh nature
I voted, "none of the above". Ja 1:14, tells us that even without Satan's influence, we are still prone to sin. Also it will be evident during the Millenial Reign when Satan is bound.
Thankfully it will be destroyed in us when we are glorified. -
