After the great flood, was there any human on the other part of the world that survived, not including of course the people on NOAH's ark.

Every human being died except Noah, his wife, Noah's sons and their wives.
After the Tower of Babel incident, God scattered the people all over the world.
peace to you:praying: -

This could be the shortest thread in BB history

Or, maybe we can extend this thread with this question: Was the water that covered the earth saltwater or fresh water?
-
Could have been both (from rain and from the ground).

No mention of rain before the flood. And I think there is a good chance there was a layer of water over the earth, above the atmosphere. Genesis 1:6&7. That's the first rain. -

Well, assuming that the earth may have been covered in an "ice shield" its important to know where it was located. Ionosphere? Mesosphere? Stratosphere (where the ozone is)? Also dependent would be the thickness of an ice sheild. If this "ice sheild" was in the Ionosphere much of it would have burned up upon entry and vaporized rather than making rain. There should be "chunks" of residual Ice orbiting our planet. Though other aspects of pucturing a sheild would cause a significant change in barometric pressure and I'm curious why didn't Noah's ears bleed if that were the case? Just some thoughts. Also note that there is more water than land mass on our planet. This is unusual looking at the rest of the solar system.

What if the flood covered the known world of Noah and not the entire globe?
After this flood subsided, and we know from scripture it didn't happen overnight, rivers and valleys and mountains reappeared. We do, however, only read of the known world of Noah and the sons as they scattered about that world.

And can you help me understand what "all the high mountains everywhere under the heavens" means?
Can you explain why there are so many flood epics if the flood was only local? Where would they have gotten their flood tradition from? -

II Peter 2:5
And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; -
It froze. It is the polar caps, miles thick. Scientists have determined if they were to fully melt, it would be enough water to cover the whole earth...coincidence? ;)

You would hope a "pastor" would understand such things. But I guess you think Rome taxed the Ming Dynasty.
Luk 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.Click to expand...

Why would anyone think that the flood of Gen 6-8 was local?
Before making condescending statements perhaps you should think first.Click to expand... -
Sheesh! Can't we have just one respectful discussion about a scriptural passage without it turning into a debate? Oh wait, we're Baptists. That's probably impossible.
