Al Mohler on aborted cells vaccine

I think the biblical principle is to take the "fruit of the poison tree" vaccine if you believe God has blessed the effort to save lives, and take some other vaccine if not. I see no need to vilify those on either side.

How about a simple yes or no answer to this question:

Are they using cells from aborted fetuses in the vaccines?

From Mohler's own statement:

"The fact is that many of these do go back to tissue taken from aborted fetuses, and there is some involvement, in most of the major COVID-19 vaccines, in the use of these fetal cell lines. "

A rationale to continue abortion.

They can't fight back and we don't have a relationship with them so it's ok to use them to keep the "living" alive?

Any one who is OK with that and Christian should study "womb" in the bible to begin with.

Here is one passage:

  • A replica cell line from a fetus aborted in 1973 was used to develop the AstraZeneca/Oxford University vaccine. However, the vaccine itself does not contain fetal cells.

According to the Lozier Foundation, AstraZeneca/University of Oxford used some abortion-derived cell lines in Confirmatory Lab Tests, Design & Development, and Production.

Also according to the Lozier Foundation, Moderna, Inc./National Institutes of Health and Pfizer/BioNTech used some abortion-derived cell lines in some Confirmatory Lab Tests, but not in Design & Development or Production.

 

I went back to this in reviewing this thread. Had not read it previously before launching into fear.
It is "comforting."
But devious person that I am, decided to check a little further.

It, for me, is difficult to determine how to rely on any published information.

That would not be consistent with scripture.
