Yes, But I don't believe the democrats are very happy with how this looks right now. But we down here in Florida have elected some folks with rap sheets.

 

Any chance this is just the Democrats setting this guy up to get rid of him?

Since Tom Delay was not charged with any criminal charges, I guess there is hope for Mr. Green, innocent or not.

I have had two youth pastor in churches I attended accused of immoral charges. One of them plead guilty to inappropriately touching a teenage boy while on a field trip. The other, last I heard, was still being sought by the police.

Because of incidents like these I would be very cautious letting any child of mine go anywhere with anyone.

 

Sorry to hear that. That kind of thing will certainly impact any parent.

As a 20+year veteran of youth ministry, I would like to throttle folks like you've had the misfortune of encountering, because of how they've soiled our name, ministry, and reputation.

 

The problem isn't any one position. There are unscrupulous people in every profession, church or otherwise. Since it is impossible to tell who is trustworthy and who is not, I was very cautious where my children went, and who they were with when they were young and living at home.

Overall, I have experienced many, many more good pastors and other Christian workers than I have bad ones. This includes youth pastors and workers.

 

This is just your little way of saying that Tom Delay is not innocent even though he has not even been charged - let alone proven guilty.
