American 'Russia Today' host resigns on air over 'whitewashing'

An American anchor working for state-owned television station Russia Today quit on air on Wednesday. Liz Wahl, in the network's D.C. bureau, said she could no longer be "part of a network that whitewashes the actions of Putin.

So I guess now she'll be looking for a job on one of the numerous American networks that whitewash the actions of Obama...

Personally, I applaud Liz Wahl for what she did while at the same time condemning mainstream journalists for not doing the same. Every time you watch Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer or Christiane Amanpour report from a “war zone,” you are in fact watching media-prostitute-apologists who are whitewashing the for-profit war industry.
