Fifty-five percent (55%) of adults, however, believe the Palestinians are to blame for the current situation in Gaza, while 13% point the finger at the Israelis. Nearly one-third (32%) aren’t sure.

"Forty-four percent (44%) say Israel should have taken military action against the Palestinians, but 41% say it should have tried to find a diplomatic solution to the problems there, according to a new Rasmussen Reports."

The fact that any American is blaming Israel is a symptom of why this nation is going to Hell in a handbasket...

We have the most liberal of all presidents getting ready to take over
We have a corrupt crook for a governor in IL..
We have people that think that gov. should still be able to appoint a Sen.
We have gays marching against Christians and ripping crosses out of our hands..
We have "Christians" that think murdering babies should be the mothers choice.
We have people complaining because a Christian will be praying to Jesus at the inauguration of Obama.
Now we have Americans turning against God's own people.

It seems every nation on the planet hates Israel.
    That has to speak volumes.

America will fall.. it is inevitable.
    God will destroy us.

Jews today are not God's people today regardless of how often Christians with a mistaken understanding of the Holy Scriptures say it.

The notion that so many people object to Israel defending itself against monsters, is indicative of how far this nation has fallen.... Couple that with our electing so marginal a man for our president.....and our penchant for murdering our young. I've not understood how God can be so long suffering..... But thankfully He can.. I also believe God is done with America, as a nation against evil...

Very few people hold to such a position in the United States. Stating that Israel needs to be careful to avoid harming innocent civilians does not equate to saying that Israel should not defend itself.

Isn't American a lovely place to live, it's where you can have all this and burn the flag in protest if you choose. Now that's freedom.

Not to worry, Bush will be out of office in two weeks...

God is long suffering because he is a merciful God. He is not done with America of today just like he didn't abandon America in the 200+ years leading to today. In every year of our existence, there has been some Christian who points out the immoralities in this nation and condemns us to a Godless future with God passing judgment on this nation. Today we have you and Tiny to carry the torch.

    Can we say ALARMIST?

You have to remember, LeBuick, that there are people who think that if things don't go the way they want it - politically and/or culturally - that it must mean that it's the end of the nation, if not the world.

    It's a rather my-way-o-centric worldview. :)

By the way, that's a good zinger about Bush being out of office in two weeks.

As I posted in another Israeli-Palestian thread:

Why doesn't Hamas do what the old saying "When Life Hands You A Lemon, Make Lemonade" instructs us to do and put those pieces of rubble that once were the building blocks for their houses, offices, hospitals and schools (until those bad Israeli Air Force dudes visited them) up for sale on eBay?

I just know that those hand-wringing, finger-pointing, bleeding-heart Arab allies (& other associated leftist people/groups) will immediately flood eBay with bids such that all of eBay's servers will meltdown due to the rush of traffic on its website.

    Yah think?

They have for years. Islam does not sign a peace treaty but only a cease fire, till they get the upper hand. Read their history from past till today.

I think Israel does a better job of letting them know to get out before they attack than the Palestinians do before they shoot rockets into Israel, they just blast away. Also much of the Palestinian attack is from hiding among the civilians or behind them. And they go into Israel among the civilians and blow them up, it looks like to me the Palestinian look for Israel civilians to go after, oh, yes all Jews must die I believe is what most of them are taught.

Israel is always careful about civilians. When the enemy hides among them using them as shields then civilians will get hurt. What should be condemned is Hamas' use if civilian shields.

You can call me what ever you like. But I have my viewpoints, and your statement does not make my statement incorrect... We have a nation that is systematically ridding this country of God, at least it is trying to...

We have Christians that think, since the Bible says love your enemy, that the homosexual lifestyle is just fine.

Or that a woman's right to happiness, is reason enough to kill an unwanted child..

Why on earth would you make such a claim? This completely flies in the face of everything I've ever been taught or have read for myself in God's word. I'm willing to make a new thread for this, because if there are Christians who think this way, I need to know why and how one could possibly come to this conclusion?

I will start a new thread in the "other denominations" forum in case you are not baptist.

Tell us where we are wrong, and use scripture, please. If you are going to make a blanket statement like that, and not back it up, you are hardly worth engaging on it.

Cop out. You have NEVER backed up your position, and have NEVER answered a challenge put to you about this.

Show me where the Abrahamic covenant is voided, please.
