America's War on John 14:1-6

This American War is quickly moving towards the criminalization of those that hold to John 14:1-6.

The label of Extremist is already being levied. It's obvious how "Tolerance" quickly morphs into "Intolerance" by those that petitioned for "Tolerance".

The Biden Administration has reappointed many of the same appointees from the Obama Administration to continue this movement.

This evil is on the threshold of removing America's status as a Christian Sanctuary.

Even so come Lord Jesus .

I think the primary hatred is directed to the exclusiveness of salvation, as per verse 6 (although there is plenty of general hatred toward Jesus and his Word).

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

In the past I thought about buying The Intolerance of Tolerance by D. A. Carson, but have not gotten around to it yet. Looks like a good read. He writes (p. 3):

“This shift from ‘accepting the existence of different views’ to ‘acceptance of different views,’ from the recognizing other people’s right to have different beliefs or practices to accepting the differing views of other people, is subtle in form, but massive in substance…We move from allowing the free expression of contrary opinions to the acceptance of all opinions…”
