Curtis, we definitely agree! -

I agree he needs to just step down, so we can all move on. Frankly I don't care why he did it, knowing that he did it and admits to doing it is enough.

I deal with this every day with kids. They do everything they can to hide their sin. Then they do everything they can to justify their sin. WHEN all they have to do is repent of their sin. The sooner, the better, the quicker we can get on with our lives. *sigh* -

In this case he admitted (in a political spinny sort of way) the wrong in which he did.
"In hindsight, I wish I had trusted my original instincts and kept myself out of the negotiations," Wolfowitz said. "I made a mistake, for which I am sorry."
If this was the worst thing Mr Wolfowitz ever did we'd be in much better shape as a country and a world. This is a blue dress distraction. -

And that's the difference. The left is proud of Pelosi, Hoyer, Kennedy, Reid, Berger, Frank, you know the list........

I forgot about Boxer. She needs to be on that list as well. -
Leave it to the corporate media to make a big deal out of Paul Wolfowitz’s shameless promotion of his girlfriend, Shaha Riza, while ignoring the larger story—the fait accompli fusion of neoliberal and neocon policies at the World Bank and the IMF. “The neolib-neocon fusion is personified by Wolfowitz, close ally of the exceptionally corrupt, brutal Indonesian dictator Suharto during the 1980s and more recently, as deputy Pentagon leader, architect of and apologist for imperial theft and US corporate patronage associated with the illegal Iraq War,” writes Patrick Bond.
