Actually, Donna was addressing the person that used Jeremiah 10 to say that Christmas trees were forbidden in scripture. Donna correctly points out that the passage in Jeremiah was addressing the making of idols for worship and not a Christmas tree - hence the person was pulling the passage out of context. Your question should be addressed to the person that misused Jeremiah 10 and not to Donna. As she has shown that she is not in agreement with him (at least in reference to that argument).

My Grandmother use to love Santa Clauses. Now she has decided they are Pagan and wants nothing to do with them. My boyfriends mother collects them though and she's a pastors wife! Can anyone clarify for me if Santa Claus has Pagan roots?
