That's a fact.
While I have no use for either party, as they are both a self-serving, power hungry group of slugs, the Democrats add the extra dimension of stupidity.
Only the Democrats could lose an election in 2008 with a trashed economy and unpopular war.
If they do in fact lose, they need to turn out the lights and ask a new party to take over.
