I caught portions of the other thread of men possibly being feminized, but in the same sense, are women being masculinized by being in different roles in the church?
Are women masculinized in our churches?

I think yes. I think that, as I said in the other thread, there is a temptation to step out of one's place and become bossy or brash. This is not the case for all, but certainly the case for some. A meek and mild spirit is prudent.

That role was first reversed before the argument about homosexual or even effeminate men could gain ground. -
Depends on how long their beards are!

The desire to usurp the roles of authority is rooted in the fall.
Gen. 3:16 "To the woman He said,...yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you."
"desire" does not mean se*ual desire. The same word is used in Gen. 4 to describe sin's "desire" for Cain. It is crouching, waiting to control him, but God warns that Cain must master it.
One consequence of the fall is the woman's "desire" to control her husband, to usurp his authority and headship. The roles within the family are marred.
The man, on his part, will abuse his authority by "ruling" over his wife, instead of practicing self-sacrificing servant leadership within the family.
peace to you:praying: -

I wear a gown in the pulpit, but never high heels. Must be my short hair and beard that keeps me masculine.
I haven't even been called Mr. Inbetween.......Isn't that a song?

I don't think feminonizing* men or masculinizing* women even applies here.
* not sure of the spelling, sorry.

Are you asking if women's charcter changes to be more masculine simply based on the job she preforms in church? Or her sexual charcteristics change to be more masculine based on the job she preforms at church?
Does a man become a woman(physically) based on the job he preforms in church?
When using the proper definations it doesn't even apply here.
The answer to both of course is no.
