Ok, one more family story I sorta DO remember before I check out Mary Poppins! Well, read the thread on her, ya know what I mean.

Ok, so my grandmother, her sister, and her brother were put into an orphanage type deal as children because my great grandmother was having many problems. While in there they were treated very poorly, and my gramma used to drink her little sister's castor oil for her because it made her throw up and they'd get in trouble for that. The little sister was too young to tie her shoes and would get in trouble for that also, so my gramma would get up early and sneak to tie her shoes for her.
One day an uncle went to visit them, saw how they were treated, and went and bawled out their mom and told her if she didn't get her act together and get her kids out of there they'd wind up dead. She immediately went and got her kids and cared for them properly.
She lived a long time too, I remember seeing her when she was 101. I was kinda scared of her cuz I was little and she was all wrinkley, but she made me laugh.

Ohio is beautiful and nothing will ever beat it except for Montana so naaaaaaaah!

There are millions of historical markers. We birth all the kewl Republicans here with a special emphasis on U.S. presidents.

Also, we have the first mormon temple in Kirtland. Very beautiful woodwork on the stairway if you stop to notice it, one of the missionaries I took there pointed out the parts his granfather or great grandfather or whoever worked on.
