Every little town in America is filled with hidden sins where people wear masquerade clothes in hopes no one finds out. Not just homosexual sins, but incest, pornography, sexual affairs with others, etc. Somehow, all those sins seem to be ignored by those who masquerade, but not homosexual sin. That sin receives the scarlet letter. It's an odd thing to me that the other sins aren't viewed just as grievously. It's odd how Satan numbs Christians to their "ordinary" sins and then fills them with hate for other sinners who have different sins that Christians abhor while rarely abhoring their own sin. I find this troubling, how Christians place various weights on sin so that they can proudly claim how they aren't as bad as the other sinner. It is truly the spirit of the Pharisee.
