Hi Everyone,
I've known a few Baptists in Australia and they're all great people whose beliefs and theology are pretty close to my own.
Never the less I know there are very different beliefs and theological underpinnings among Christians. I've visited a number of different Christian forums and found that different beliefs are not just different - they're often polarised to the point of bloody minded tribal fisticuffs.
I know there are some diverse views on this site also, but from the little I've seen you seem to maintain a little more decorum in your discussions than is the case elsewhere.
With your indulgence I'd like to stay around a while and talk.

Welcome to the site. You will notice that some areas will be read only for you and limited to baptists. There is an area open to all.
I grew up Church of England and became a baptist after my discharge from army as an Anglican Chaplain.
I came to Canada in 1948 from England and now live in Ontario, Canada..Long time retired though.
Cheers, and bless,
Jim -
