Bachmann: Obama Worst President in United States History
by Ben Shapiro
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is a rising star in the Republican Party, a true representative of the tea party spirit. She’s plainspoken, brilliant, and incisive. She’s running for re-election to the House in Minnesota. And today, I had the chance to pre-record an interview with Congresswoman Bachmann for my radio show, “The Ben Shapiro Show,” broadcast Sundays 1-4 PM EST on 810 AM in Orlando, FL. You can also listen live at big810am.com.
In the interview, Congresswoman Bachmann characterizes President Obama’s response to the BP spill as “infantile,” says he’s the worst president in American history, says he’s siding with the Islamic world against Israel.

Bachmann: the most hyperbolic congresswoman EVER!
-
Perhaps. ;)
But this time, I believe she got it 100% right...
And had the courage to say so openly. -
If I recall correctly on storms the local and state government responds first and then ask for federal help, but after the Exxon mess in Alaska the president and federal government are to respond first on oil spills, he was way slow. -
-
Instead he has presided over a bureaucracy that has gotten in the way of the cleanup efforts at every turn. -
Carry on. -

At some point somebody is going to have to reconcile the hatred and cynicism of the extreme right with biblical principles of peace and reconciliation.
I mean seriously, do you really think some politician of the opposing (minority) party is in the best position to gauge the effectiveness or historical place of a sitting president?
Regardless of whatever you might think of the sitting president we are in no position to begin to evaluate his presidency yet. This kind of story does nothing to advance our society and grow the national dialogue. -

It depends on how you measure. It you measure it by whether or not he has gotten his ideas passed. He is an effective president.
If you measure by the content of his ideas that he has been able to pass, then it depends on how you feel about them. But if you like what he has passed, then he is a great president. If you don't like his ideas -and I don't - he is one of the worst presidents.
There may be another measuring tool. How easily has he gotten what he wanted passed with his huge majorities in both houses. He has had to expend a huge amount of political capitol to get his bills passed. With his original popularity and the size of democrats over republicans, he should have gotten them passed easily. But he didn't. -

I do disagree with him on most of what he has done.
As my father use to say union bosses, lawyers and government workers make the greatest politicians. I would ask why, he would say because they will compromise over most anything. I would say isn't that good? He would say no, how much dirty used motor oil do you want to put in your drinking water.
He believed government workers retirement was going to break the government and he died in 1961. I don't know if he is correct but I have a feeling it is costing us a lot today. -

About time Israel didn't get a free pass. Israel would turn against the US in a heartbeat if it was in their best interest. -

Obama has proven himself to be in way over his head.
His views on freedom and individual liberties are, in a word, scary.
His antagonism towards free enterprise is causing irreparable harm.
He is mortgaging our future and bringing about an unprecedented level of dependence upon government.
He thinks that government is the answer to any and every problem we face.
He is willing to push legislation that curtails liberty, expands government, punishes acheivement, and injures our country...all in the name of junk science, or rewarding union buddies, "sticking it" to Republicans, or some other silliness.
He is a liar.
Having said that....is he the worst? Far too early to tell. But, if that's his goal, well then, he's certainly making good headway. -

Of course maybe you know the epistolatory passage that tells the persecuted to hate their tormentors and despise the rulers set over them by God. -

It is the kind of language that has gotten fundamentalists pushed out of the national dialogue for years as it is neither couched in reality or expressive of the constitutional system in place. -

From the initial post:
"In the interview, Congresswoman Bachmann characterizes President Obama’s response to the BP spill as “infantile,” says he’s the worst president in American history, says he’s siding with the Islamic world against Israel."
Ergo, Opinions on the diplomatic handling of Israel vs the Islamic world are exactly on topic.
