Thanks for the link. At that link, there are links to other related articles. I found the article entitled "Whose 'majesty' were the KJV translators exalting?" interesting.
Laura Knoppers asserted that the KJV translators "had an agenda--to provide scriptural support for the divine right of kings." -
Actually, QE1 had given the Anglican church the go-ahead for a new English Bible translation, but she died before the project got underway. The translators' boss, Archbishop Bancroft, was a toadie of KJ, and, knowing KJ's displeasure at the marginal notes of the Geneva Bible which disputed the Divine right os ALL kings, was careful to avoid that subject in the new translation, including its marginal notes and extratextual commentary.
And I believe we have clearly proven that the KJVO doctrine is wholly MAN-MADE, without one quark of SCRIPTURAL SUPPORT, even in the KJV itself.
