    Ah yes, but you see, all of the modern translations do include the passage! The alternative endings just do not make sense.
    I didn't engage you on that, and don't intend to.

    The man-made traditional ending with "verses" 9 through 16 are interesting. There is quite a break of thought between verse 8 and the mainstream "verse" nine.

    Don't most mv treat the original ending as the shorter one, and that the last partwas added by one who though the shoter ending was to abrupt, left the person hanging reading it? But that just might have been what Mark intended!

    No, there's not, no more so than from Matt. 28 from v. 4 to v. 5, or Luke 24 v. 24 to v. 25.
