I didn't know where to post this so you admins can move it where you think it is appropriate.
I knew Jamie Foxx was dumb, but I never figured him to be an idiot.
He just called Barack Obama God, and Lord and Savior.:BangHead::BangHead:
Oh .... enlighten me this morning.
Tell me which conservative person - celebrity or otherwise
- who, in jest or in all seriousness, - has confessed a political leader to be his or her Lord and Savior and God.
I'm interested.
Just one will suffice.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
pinoybaptist - I heard him say that last night and I think it was just a spoof of people who do think President Obama can do no wrong.
Your friend just gave one example. Pride sure does puff yall up. You need to stop acting like the right ain't raised nobody or anything to the same status as Jamie Foxx and the left speak of Barack Obama.
They just aren't afraid to say it. The right, and that APPARENTLY includes a couple of folks this morning, do the EXACT same thing with their actions and simply don't go as far as Foxx did in
saying it.
No, they were making references to you and your accusations.
OK.
All you've done here is to repeat your accusation.
Can you provide an example of where anyone on the conservative right ever pronounced a political leader as his or her Lord and Savior and God?
OK, three of us have responded to you.
So - you've now accused three
of us specifically - Scarlett O., Arbo, and Old Timer
- of
"doing the EXACT same thing with our actions".
How is being a conversative and voting for Mitt Romney proclaiming Mitt Romney as Lord, Savior, and God?
All I was wanting him to be was president.
And I don't feel enlightened, brother.
You have offered no explanation for your accusations.
I saw his response before he deleted it and I appreciate it.
His motives were only to get a answer from you.
He realized that no one here is going to get a straight answer from you, but only more accusations and nonsense.
Then stop trying to interpret it. It's obvious some of you like to put words in people's mouths and then pretend like the person actually said what YOU said so that you can then set about trying to make a point.
I don't need your help. If I intend to say it, I will.:thumbs:
That's because you don't say anything concrete to begin with, so we are left to our own interpretations.
Prime example is another thread where I doubted the U.S. economy would collapse any time soon and you retorted, "God said there would be scoffers." God doesn't say anything about the U.S. economy, so how is someone supposed to interpret that statement? When you dig out the verse you referenced it refers to people not believing that the Lord's second coming was imminent. When I interpret that you are linking the fall of the U.S. economy with the second coming, you berate me! What's up with that?
