The BCS continued their futile efforts to avoid a playoff by agreeing to add a 5th BCS Bowl game. It is supposed to allow the small-conference schools a better chance to get into a big money bowl game. Here is a link to an article: Yahoo Sports Article.

I hope it is the Cotton Bowl.

I live just across the Ohio River from Huntington, WV, home of MARSHALL UNIVERSITY. A few years back, I saw with dismay that a great Toledo team didn't even get invited to a bowl at all! This team had an early-season hiccup which cost them a shot at the MAC title and another tilt at Marshall, whom they'd beaten in regular-season.(Marshall won the MAC title that year, & went on to the GMAC Bowl.)
I'm a MU booster, and, good as they were that year, I believe Toledo was a little better, and was unfairly denied a Bowl shot. I believe the Bowl selectors were afraid of having TWO MAC teams win Bowl games!
BTW, Marshall is moving to C-USA.

I rather to see NCAA football to have playoff games than BCS! BCS system is so lousy!!!

I'm not gonna open my snout and try to catch this bone. Fans want a playoff, not aother 'BCS' game where it is virtually inevitable that a 'token' team from C-USA, Mountain West, or MAC will be given a spot.
