#1. You cannot honestly state you have scripture if you believe
only the original manuscripts were given by inspiration of God.
There are no original manuscripts.
#2. You cannot honestly say "the bible" or "all bibles"
are given by inspiration of God.
There are over 400 (Christian, Catholic, Cult) Greek, Syrian, Latin, German, English, French, Spanish, etc. bibles
which do not match in content, volume or doctrine.
#3. You cannot honestly say "the Greek N.T." or "all N.T. Greek texts"
are given by inspiration of God.
There are over 24 reconstructed (Christian, Catholic, Cult) Greek N.T. texts
which do not match in content, volume or doctrine.
KJV All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:
Be sincere, answer my question Dr. Bob.
Do you have scripture or just a translation
of reconstructed N.T. Greek texts ?
KJV But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully;
but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves
to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
Be sincere, answer my question fellow poster

Putting the names of members in titles is against board rules.
See someone already edited it :) -
but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things. -
Mak,are you hoestly under the impression that the KJV is NOT a translation? It is called the King James Version. It is a version of the originals. Yes,the New Testament KJV was based on reconstructed Greek texts --an eclectic mix.

Believers will believe, doubters will doubt, haters will hate.
Not one single person has answered my question.

Really, there are no original manuscripts.
KJV Proverbs 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie:
but a false witness will utter lies. -
Do you have scripture given by inspiration of God
or just a translation of reconstructed N.T. Greek texts,
yes or no, doctor ? -
No one can say that with certainty. There were original writings. Then copies upon copies upon copies were made continuously. The KJV did not just magically appear out of thin air. They were based on a few late manuscripts that Erasmus had access to.
The KJV is in old English -- the originals and the oldest known copies were not in English but Greek (since we are speaking of the N.T. here).A translation --(yes,the KJV is a translation as much as any modern version is)is an approximation -- it can't line up in direct equivalent style with the originals.
You need to gain some sense of perspective Mak. The KJV is an also-ran along with the NIV and all the rest.
