    There can be a major difference between what a passage of Scripture explicitly reads and how one interperts it to mean. When this happens Bible believers are going to disagree.

    I don't think so. If the bible explicitly says something and someone does not accept what it says, then they are not Bible believers. For instance. The Bible clearly says that the nails went into the hands and feet of Christ. Someone comes along and says no the nails went into His wrists and feet. Well that person does not believe the bible. Saying they just interpret it differently while claiming they believe the bible is silly. Or the bible clearly says a woman is not to teach or exercise authority over a man and someone comes along and says that was for that time and that culture. That person does not believe the Bible. In every case when we reject clear scripture we lack faith.

    Wrist is never used in the NT. However the Greek word for wrist is "καρπός" Hands which IS used in the NT is "χείρ". Two different words.

    Merely telling me this is not proof for what you are claiming, This also does not prove χείρ does not include the wrist part of the hand. Modern translation does in fact translate χείρ as wrist.

    Acts 12:7 Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He tapped Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, "Get up quickly." And the chains fell off his wrists.

    You are referring to false translations. There is no amount of evidence that can convince a person who has rejected what is written. Believe what you want. I will believe the word of God.

    In the New Testament καρπός occurs 67 times. Once as a person's name. And the other 66 times in regards to fruit in some way. The wrist is a secondary meaning not used in the New Testament.
