    Yup. The ungrateful Frenchy-French.

BTW, thank you for the help in the Revolutionary war. But the fact remains, we don't know what would have happened without your help. But the fate of France without America's help can not be doubted. And we buried a lot of of us there, than you did over here.

Enjoy your country. We earned that right for you.

Who said they were not grateful?

Gee whiz man. Shame the American Indians had no one to come to their rescue. I forgot, they were savages. Give it up mate.

Give what up ? If you didn't say this...

" I have never been to the States and I have issues with America."

I may have never said anything. You don't sound very grateful, and I thought a reminder of your recent history might be helpful. Don't thank me, though. I was glad to do it.

And I have Canadian Indian blood, so I don't know about the "savages" thing. I think the liberal media may have exaggerated how many of us were slaughtered by the evil white man,. and the media has definately ignored how many of us have become Christian missionaries, due to the influence of the evil white man.

Really ? Getting challenged makes you turn tail & run ? Surrender, to coin a word ?

France may be a fantastic place to live. Probably is, seeins' how the Germans have always seemed to like it. All I'm saying is, you've had help. From the same folks you have "issues" with.

All I want to know about the article is, how many of the countries that enjoy a better standard of living than the U.S. have the illegal immigration problem we have ? Do France, and the other countries offer their illegals free health care, like we do ? Does France patrol it's borders ? These are honest questions.

"the cost of living, culture and leisure, environment, safety, culture and weather. "

As I said, it's all relative.

What is the cost of living in France to an unemployed minority?

What are the cultural and lesiure benefits to an outcast minority?

How safe is it to be a minority it France?

France is argueably the most racistist country in Europe.

    I agree it's relative.

As to being racist, it's in a positive way.

I read today that a new law will make muslim ladies pay a 800 euro fine if they wear the burka in public. And if husbands who force it pay double.

    Explain minority?

France and others in Europe are leading the way against Islam. Support it. I know I will.

All France wants is for the people to dwell therein respect it's laws.

It would be great if our country did that. But the liberals run the show, and we would have riots if we adopted those laws.

I am against the burka fine. If they want to wear them, that's fine, but in cases where they need to be indentified, ie lisences, banks, airports, they shoud remove them willingly.

I can find stats that say America spent $10 billion on emergency room care for illegal aliens in a recent year. I imagine it's about that every year. Do you have any idea what France spends ?

Google a bit man. Europe has no control borders, although you might find that hard to believe when you try to cross them.

    Turn tail! Watch your words.

Turn tail in America means run away. Maybe in France it means something else, but I need not concern myself with that. I noticed when I visit a country, I need to conform to them, not them to me.

Well, America does have France to thank for bottled water!!!!

The best thing any country could do for itself is to send its citizens abroad to experience how those countries function. It might open our eyes to what we do most enjoy about our own country.

    Cheers,

    Jim

What's wrong with France? They've got everything you need: Good food, good wine, great bread, a starship captain's birthplace, and a Disney theme park. :wavey:

I look forward to visiting there someday.

Yup. And mayonaisse, and duck l'orange.....

And the folks they sent to Canada learned hockey from the Canadian Indians, before killing us. Or was it only white people from Britain that massacred Indians ? Anyhoo.....hockey is now a French-Canadian sport, or was until the breakup of Russia.

Yup. The Navy did wonderous things for me.
